A small sanctuary with beautiful roses & other flowering plants, plus aviary birds as well as wild ones. Simply delightful!

Hard to choose the best bit of the Animal Park and Gardens, but the meerkats must be somewhere near the top. This is a favourite with visitors who return year on year, but especially popular with local families. There is a children's play area, and a sensory garden; choose a picnic in one of the many cosy nooks or visit the cafe and gift shop on site. Plenty of free parking. This place is run with passion, and you can tel. Covid safe.

Very little has changed here since my parents started bringing me here in the early 70s.the boating Lake, crazy golf and cafe may have all been refurbished over the years, and there are new additions to the park swings, slides and roundabout but children of all ages enjoy them still. The addition of the wooden carvings is nice addition. Lovely views over the bay from here and it is a nice place to sit and enjoy the day and even bring a picnic to enjoy.

Had a pleasant rest in these delightful gardens, clean, great views, enjoying looking at scenery, and the past elegance, though still quaint charming hotels on sea front.

Bayley Gardens is located to the side of the All Saints Church. It is a nice, peaceful place to enjoy on a sunny day. There is a picnic table, and benches to sit down. Right now there are flowers in bloom. It is a great place to take a book and have an afternoon to yourself. The day I visited there was a friendly kitty hanging out. A man came by to give him some food. Both are regulars to the park. If you are in the area and need a break from it all, check out Barley Gardens.
