Cesme attracts all types of surfers from all over the world: wind surfers, kite surfers, surf surfers. If you can surf it, you’ll probably want to surf it in Cesme. This resort town on the Aegean Coast is all about the water. Even the 16th-century Cesme Castle is a stone’s throw from the sapphire sea. The beaches are golden, the ocean is warm, and the atmosphere is posh but friendly.

Cesme Marina, a chic and vibrant marina village set in a natural harbour is sensitively integrated within the traditional maritime city of picturesque Cesme, rich in history and atmosphere. This romantic ancient harbour is a wonderful place to visit, an ideal base for wintering your yacht and a perfect home port from which to explore the Aegean – with the idyllic isles of Chios and Lesbos just a short sail away. You’ll find yourself enchanted by the marina village’s numerous elegant cafés and fine eateries, and also attracted to the marine fashion retail outlets and designer boutiques of the modern retail complex.
Small resort town overlooking the harbor, you can walk and take pictures along the harbor. Opposite the Cesme castle has a lovely icecream shop..test icecream and take a photo ;)

... probably has the warmest waters in Turkey at any given time. This is due to the hot springs in and around Cesme.
Truly beautiful beach with torqoise sea colors. It is too busy in high season but still clean and clear.

Alacati is a beautiful small town set few km inland (around 10 min drive) from the famous Ilica beach in Cesme. Because there's no beach I do not recommend lodging in Alacati, although there're many cute guest houses. I also don't recommend coming here during the day because of the heat and it looks quite ordinary. However, coming here at night is a must. We went here 3 out of our 4 nights in Cesme (Sheraton Cesme hotel, very good and close to Alacati, read that review). Old cobbled street, beautiful decorated houses, terrific bars and restaurants make this village gorgeous - it rivals famous Greek islands. It's so nice and live with so many people around. The 19c windmills are cherry on the cake, decorating the town from an elevated position.
