Rolwaling Valley is the east-west valley below Mt. Gaurishankar (7145m) and just south from the Tibetan boarder. This is totally isolated and culturally diverse area. This is a restricted area but trekking trip can be taken to the area obtaining a climbing permit for one of the trekking peak of this area such as for Ramdung peak. The area is just south from the Tibetan boarder so it is more like Tibetan culture are here. The area contain of cultural and isolated village, glacier lakes and so on.We are always happy & ready to arrange your trip.
A wonderful trek starting in Chechet where the road ends. 600 meters up and you reach the gate to Rolwaling Valley. 2-3 days easy trek with four new bridges and a well-remade trail through Sherpa land and up to Nagaon - or an adventurous crossing over Trashi Lapsa into the Sagarmatha region.

We have made a 9 days trek combining Tamang and Langtang trail. We contacted directly our guide named Temba Tamang (owner of Me Very Happy Guesthouse) and arranged everything via email. It was a great experience with wonderful people. Booking directly with local people avoids that most of your money goes to agencies, everything we spent went directly to local people who definitely need it after the earthquake. Temba is a beautiful person who will share everything with you. Don't hesitate!

One of Chitwan's best secrets, a quiet jungle full of creatures and only 200npr each. Saw a lot more here than a whole days safari in the National Park - boar, chital & sambar deer, mongoose and a rhino plus numerous birds. Do it by bicycle for a full immersion day out where you can enjoy the sights, smells & sounds - and get off the road for goodness sake! 500npr bike hire from Sauraha, reasonable fitness required, the highlight of 5 days in Chitwan province.

The mist on the river was entrancing as we were paddled down the river in dug out canoes. We had two good guides with us who knew every bird and beast, though we saw only a few due to the mist. The jungle walk back in small groups of 6 was lovely and tranquil, though again we saw little by way of animal life - it was winter which might have made the animals scarcer. All in all a couple of hours of gentle, quiet pleasure which was my favourite out of various activities we did round here. You finished the trip by crossing the river directly back to the start point on a similar canoe to the first journey. Realistically on a good day you might see the odd monkey, deer, boar, crocodile and rhino, together with lots of birds.

River rafting was included as part of our 15 days Mardi Himal trekking tour. It was great fun and has helped broken the ice for us with other members of our tour group as we have to work together under expert guidance to help steered the raft along the river. Delicious lunch was also included, we ate like starved refugees, partly because of the energy exerted. Highly recommended if travelling between Kathmandu and Pokhara.

The Garden of Dreams, a neo classical historical garden, is situated in the midst of Kathmandu city, Nepal. The Garden's design has much in common with formal European gardens: paved perimeter paths, punctuated by pavilions, trellises, and various planting areas, surrounded by a sunken flower garden with a large pond at its center. It is an architectural landscape that encourages the visitor to stroll around and discover the Garden's treasures from many different vantage points.
The gardens were very close within walking distance from our hotel in Thamel. Beautiful gardens lots of assorted plants comfortable areas to sit lots of architect Nice place to sit and relax or read a book. Is there restaurant insight where You can drink really good coffee. Is not large but really nice place.

I was able to go and see the waterfall below the lake which flows into timure and the sight is magnificient. the water is chilly and great for a bath. Stayed closeby for 3 days and was able to enjoy different sights of the lake melting and forming waterfall below.

Phulchowki is the tallest hill around Kathmandu, during winter its covered in snow and even in summer its cool up there. The top is gurded by Nepalese Army yet you can go inside to see the tower and goddess Phulchowki. The top has lava rock on strange formation. You can see Kathmandu from Eagles eye and other surrounding places and mountains, Its 2700 Meters high from sea level Going there is also fun as you can drive/walk uphill through thick and untouched forest listening to birds. During spring Rhododendron blooms here coloring parts of hill cherry red. TIP: Carry your water if you plan to hike, its going to take 3-4 hours to reach top if you are a good walker. On the top Army have a canteen where you can buy tea(black) or ask them to make you noodles, eggs etc. Its pretty small canteen. Stay within the walking tracks/road, people have been lost here and finding a lost person is difficult as its thick forest. Wild animals such as black bears, leopards live here though attacks on human are not recorded.

I visited this park with a group of friend for picnic (just before getting inside the park) followed by short hiking. It is a dense, lush green and well preserved national park which is protected for watershed and wildlife reserve. Well secured by the Nepal Army and people have to pay an entrance fees to get inside. There are some resorts, restaurants etc. closed to park area that provides a great opportunity to visitors to enjoy fully. A must to visit place and enjoy hiking, forest fun, great flora and fauna and if lucky enough chances to some animals as well.
