It was a great place to visit since my childhood. The most advantage of Nandan kanan over other zoo are it's build and located inside of a forest, so the animals are more or less enjoying forest alike atmosphere . Extremely big with respect to the area . However mismanagement is there every where. Need to be taken care with extremely special care to preserve this gem

Dhauli is just like its name, beautiful scenic place, you will feel special after reaching there , sight of River Daya from Dhaulgii is amazing, specially when you connect that with Kalinga war and as per story Daya was full of blood and that changed Ashika from King to Baudha Bhikshu. Lord Buddha Statue is huge and attractive . many poses can be seen here of same.

Bindusagar is located in the right side of the Talabazar road leading from Kedargouri Chowk to Lingaraja Temple, Old Town, Bhubaneswar. This road is also known as Bindusagar Road. It is now under the care and maintenance of Lingaraja Temple Administration. The tank is enclosed within a masonry embankment made of dressed laterite blocks. It is the largest water body of Bhubaneswar. All the rituals of Lord Lingarajaa are closely associated with this tank.

Around 3 hours from Bhubaneswar, this sleepy and quiet resort is just perfect for sheer relaxation. On the bank of the Mahanadi as it exits from the gorge, the resort is small with AC cottages and tents, accomodating a maximum of around 20 guests. Not luxurious yet extremely comfortable, serenity prevails here. The staff are helpful, attentive yet unobtrusive. There''s not much to do except perhaps a boat ride up the Mahanadi gorge when you may see a few gharial or crocodiles, the place is ideal for pure and simple relaxation. The food is simple, almost home-cooked but very tasty and clean. Wonderful view of the river winding out of the hills, mostly pleasant weather - it's rejuvenating. The maintenance of the cottages, though, could do with a bit of better supervision. Leaky taps, dysfunctional ACs and nonfunctional intercom may cause some mild irritation. The AC cottages offer a splendid view albeit after a 103-step climb. Connectivity or the almost complete lack of it may be a blessing in disguise and adds to the lonely charm of this place.

One of the Best place for Photoshoot, Morning Workout, Running sessions, Yoga and Hangout in Bhubaneswar. You can head to this place if you need a break from your busy life and sit on the well groomed green grass for a while. There is also a children park here, within a few meters from the main gate. There is a glass house or the green house where all the cactus plants are kept. A part of This garden has beautiful flowers too but you are not allowed to touch them or pluck them as security service is really strict. So better to not to try this out. Visit with friends & family & Have a great time.

For morning walk, this is a good place. Clean and neat. No entry fee. Not too much of crowd. You have elders zone (mini gym for senior citizens), children's section, hatha yoga (Ram Dev wala) section, meditation section, joggers track. Overall a pleasant place. Weather is wonderful during the winter months. You will enjoy the activity around coupled with chirping of (real) birds.
