Visited Hill for sunset view. We parked our can near Hampi Bus stand and strolled towards hills which is 10 mins walk from the car parking. Started climbing hill up and reached to the top in just 25 minutes. The climbing hill isn’t very safe as the boulders are little curvy, slippery and there is nothing to hold for support. Don’t forget to carry water and a torch with you. View from the hilltop is breath taking. You can get a 360 degree surreal view of Hampi displaying Virupaksha temple, Hampi Bazaar, Boulders scattered to the places on one side and green paddy fields, Anjaneya Hills on the other side of the Tungabhadra river.

Make sure to visit TB dam during your hampi vacation. Need to park vehicle at the main gate and take a bus with minimal fare to reach damn view point. We watched sunset with light pink n grey hues which was a amazing still reflection on the back waters.. At 7PM there is a light show and it is just okay. There are few recreation activities for kids.. Easily one can spend 3 relaxing hours in the evening from 6 PM after visiting monuments from 3 PM to 5.30 PM

Carry powerful binoculars. It is a unique experience to just be quiet for 3 hours and try to spot the bears. We were able to see 4 to 5 bears but it was an experience in patience, concenteration and observation. Even my seven year old daughter enjoyed it and wants to go back.
