Sparsely-populated beaches that give way to an ocean brimming with interesting marine life and coral gardens are just one of the reasons to visit the beautiful Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Ghandi Park, Sippighat Farm and the century-old Cellular Jail (now a pilgrimage destination) provide glimpses into the past and present of these peaceful islands with a mysterious and multicultural past.

Ross and Smith Islands, a real treat to eyes. Waw...you beauty! A mesmerizing beauty with greenish blue sea on one side and light blue sea on other side of the white sand bar. More beautiful then Radhanagar in it's own way. Less crowded with adequate amenities. One is allowed to stay upto maximum of 3 hours, afterward Rs 400 charged on hourly basis(too much!!). But 3 hours is not sufficient to enjoy the beauty upto fullest. No one is allowed to stay here overnight. One can stay here upto 3pm, as water level increasses after 3pm and subsequently sand bar submerges under water. Visiting Ross and Smith is the best part of my whole Andaman tour. I strongly recommend to accommodate Ross and Smith into your itinery if possible. Formalities to visit Ross and Smith islands are too irritating as same entries need to be made 5 times i.e. at boat association office, govt permit office, entry gate, police check post and permit to visit Ross island seperately along with payment for 3 times at different locations i.e. for the boat, gate fee and permit for Ross Island. Hope concerned authority will look into the matter and rectify the procedure in a tourist friendly manner. Lastly, thanks to Mr. Babu (+919933272757, visit2andaman.com) and Mr. Venkatesh who helped and guided us for whole Andaman tour without whom our tour could not have been a comfortable and successful one.

This beach is famous for water sports activities ( snorkelling, jet ski, banana ride, scooter ride, parasailing etc.). There are two ways to reach here one is by boat (950/ person) another through forest trekking ( 500₹ for guide for all). If you are fit can go through forest it is adventurous and economic as well. Beach remains open till 3 pm so better to reach there till 9 am to get enjoy of water sports activities. Price for water sports activities are high here compared to Neil Island. Snorkelling is must to do here gives view of lot of different corals with fishes. Depth of water near shore is till your waist that’s why it creates here natural swimming pool. I did swimming here around 2 hours and still remember. It will better you get your own snorkelling instrument because it will help you not only on this beach but on other beaches also. Swimming goggles is must to bring here if you want to enjoy here in free. Don’t give water sports money to your forest trekking guide they will cheat you better to give direct to counter as we faced and caught him red handed. Lat bath facilities available here. No restaurants available here bring your own food only fruits salad n coconut water is available here.

It was a thrilling experience seeing the ruins of the island and how beautifully nature has taken charge. The highlight was the Guide Ms. Anuradha Rao who is a 4th gen Ross island inhabitant and truly a pleasure to listen to. The deer, peacocks, squirrels and rabbits followed her as she has taken care of them.

It's a wonder on earth n thanks to the status of wildlife park, its preserved in most natural conditions Jolly buoy is 30 min drive from port Blair and overall half day visit. You take boat from wandoor jetty to jolly buoy island They have glass bottom boats at the island to give u a tour of corals, fishes in their natural habitat. The variety of coral types is mesmerizing n if u are lucky, u can spot octopus n Andaman turtles(very large) with star fish, sea cucumber n scores of other fishes. Infact water is so transparent That u can see fishes swimming On the beach, u can swim in crystal clear water. It's a litter free zone n non commercial so u have to carry sm food Other places in Andaman ar north bay, Havelock n elephanta, corals are bleached due to human activities, so only place to see thriving marine n coral life is Jolly buoy

Bharatpur beach is situated near Neil island jetty. It is main beach of Neil Isla and must visit.Water is crystal clear water, good for swimming, water sports activities ( glass bottom boat ride, snorkelling, banana ride, jet ski etc.) . Here lot of shops for shopping of shell, pearls made items. You can do shopping here with reasonable price compare to Port Blair. Lat bath facilities available here. Few restaurants situated on beach side. One most important thing is visit to this beach between 10 am to 3 pm because this beach s water recedes during high tide in evening hours so you will be disappointed then. This is flat surface beach where you will not get depth even after 500 metre from shore so you can swim here without fear with great waves.
