Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park

A park symbolizing the long-standing friendship between Glacier National Park and its neighbor, Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada.

Because of Covid19, it’s understandable that some places are still closed so we were not able to see majority of Glacier Nat’l. Park. We only saw the Canadian side since US border is still closed. However, the Canadian side is still great to experience. It raided 2 days straight but the 3rd day it was a mixture of sun and clouds. Majority of the days are windy and rainy. Waterton is the second windiest city in Canada. We had a great time nonetheless. Food we tried were The Wieners, Zum’s has the best chicken, Welch’s candy shop (expensive store but has a tasty Honey Cashew Crunch ice cream), I love the afternoon tea at The Prince of Wales Hotel (a must), Cameron Falls is glorious though Cameron Lake is incidentally closed for the year due to maintenance. Red Rock Canyon is great with its rock formation and falls, meadows. It has exceptional alpine scenery and deep valleys filled with ancient forests.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park should be in anyone’s bucket list who loves the bond between nature & wildlife.Dramatic landscape,Alpine Forest, Gushing Geyser,Fuming Hot Spring, Volcanic Caldera, Bubbling Basin,Colourful pool,Scenic Lake,Hiking trail what all what not. This topography is the perfect choice for photography & a traveler's stop. The whole area is atop of a volcano & the vesicles give a rough & porous texture on the earth’s outer crust. It exactly looks like a painful blister on earth’s skin. I was taken aback to see snow fudge & thermal spring dwelling together without losing their own identity. It’s magic, bounty of nature.Get out of the car & explore this beautiful piece of the planet by walk. Time plays a major role, if someone wants to enjoy the hot spring flow. It's once in a lifetime experience & want to go back again after some years.

Glacier National Park

Spent 4 days exploring and not nearly enough. From relaxing at the lake, canoeing, kayaking, driving the Going to the Sun Road and enjoying the magnificent views, hiking, rapid river rafting, and fishing. There is plenty to do for all ages. Surrounding town has plenty to offer too. Too bad 1/4 of the park is closed due to COVID but it was still a fun trip for us. We stayed in town, Kalispell, and drive in everyday. It was only a 30-40 minute drive with plenty of scenic views.

One of best views of Yellowstone! Large horned sheep meander at the top with no concern for the two legged invaders. Interesting lookout tower to warm up in, get some great shots of Yellowstone Lake.
