Ginučiai Water Mill was build in the second half of XIXth century, these days museum of mill equipment works inside this mill. During hot summer days many come here to play in the water, swim or star kayak trip.
The Ginuciai wooden watermill is a very tiny but symbolic icon of this tiny village. As ancient as it is, in the nineteenth century, it is still a place to visit to satisfy your curiosity. The river nearby is where this mill derives its water. There is also a picnic area where you can sit and enjoy the flowing water. Watch out for mosquitoes and put on repellent. This area is very remote and is only reachable through private vehicle. There is also kayaking as an added activity. TA is asking if this place accepts CC. Ow come on, will you really charge one euro to your CC? I say no.

An interesting museum in the middle of forest. Not easy to reach, but worth it. Interesting expositions of bees’ history, some leisure activities.

We went for a regular tour of the exposition. The guide was very cool explaining various items in a lot of detail with practical examples and makes the place shine in its glory, while walking around it. This place also offers night stargazing tours for groups. It was raining heavily outside after the tour and the guide walked us to our car with an umbrella so that we wouldn't get wet.
