Sailing, diving, fishing and relaxing are the main activities for visitors to the 155 islands of this Indian Ocean archipelago. Mahé, Praslin and La Digue are the most popular islands. Mahé boasts 65 silver beaches, plus an array of restaurants, cafés, bars and casinos in the tiny capital, Victoria. The Seychelles are home to UNESCO-designated sites, coral atoll Aldabra and Vallée de Mai, called the Garden of Eden. Creole is the main language, but English and French are widely spoken.

Don’t hesitate and have a browse in this gallery with a selection of beautiful Seychellois art. You could easily imagine the pieces being on display in a London gallery. It is a hidden gem! The owner Maureen is a pro: well informed and allows you the time to look around. They deliver at your hotel free of charge.

Visited the Seychelles National Museum on a resent trip to Seychelles. We walked into the museum not expecting much, but was surprised by the modern interactive displays in a clean and well organized building. A very complete collection of the Islands history from pirates, early colonization, local creole customs to the development of a modern eco-friendly society. A little gem that should be included on any visit to the Seychelles.

We visited the museum as part of an island day trip and we were blown away by the owner Steve ! Animals and plants plus how to open a coconut in 5 seconds something that normally takes hours! We followed that up with a half day fishing trip with Steve and he then cooked our catch on the bbq in the evening at his home . Entertainment was provided by Steve and his gorgeous daughter . Truly a day and evening to remember!!!
