Pereslavl-Zalessky (Russian: Переславль-Залесский, IPA: [pʲɪrʲɪˈslavlʲ zɐˈlʲɛskʲɪj], lit. Pereslavl beyond the woods), also known as Pereyaslavl-Zalessky, is a town in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia, located on the main Moscow–Yaroslavl road and on the southeastern shore of Lake Pleshcheyevo at the mouth of the Trubezh River. Population: 41,925 (2010 Census); 43,379 (2002 Census); 42,331 (1989 Census).

Is it a shop or a museum? Well, actually it's both. The museum part relates to Russian and Soviet porcelain, there is a large collection that shows off a great range of figurenes, tableware etc. The shop part is a mixture of antiques as well as beautiful handmade items. Certainly you will find a unique gift to take home from Russia instead of the usual tourist tat or Russian nesting dolls!!!! The Shop/Museum is named after its owner, Olga Kuznetsova, and if she is there when you visit, consider yourself lucky as she is passionate about these items and isn't afraid to talk about them :-) The location isn't that easy to find, although in the center of town, it's on a residential road, so you are unlike to discover it accidentally. But it's worth looking for
