In this part of Paraguay you can visit churches and Jesuit remains but here is a small museum which has a fine collection of Jesuit/Guarani sacred art within an old building of the era and which is still alive as an arts and crafts location

Spent a few hours here during recent trip to Asunción. This museum is not to be missed. Comprehensive collection beautifully displayed. The only disappointment was the museum shop. I expected a much nicer shop with a more helpful staff in a museum of the quality.

I really couldn't believe my eyes while walking around this gorgeous property. Every room has such character and charm, as well as an authenticity to each of them. The grounds are perfectly kept, including 3 stunning little oasis, two beautiful gardens, and one with a spectacular pool and tennis clay court. The staff was phenomenal, with such genuine attention to detail, as well as extremely professional. I really could stayed there, or even spend a full day here just lounging around. I highly recommend going there for a visit, or even stay there at least one night!
