At Sicily’s northeast tip, Messina is the first city being kicked by mainland Italy’s boot, just three miles across the Strait of Messina. It's a main port of entry for visitors via hydrofoils and ferries. Trains board the ferry, too, before continuing service. The 12th-century Norman cathedral, rebuilt after a 1908 earthquake destroyed it and much of the town, is the most famous attraction.

BOTTEGA SICULA - Sicilian Artistic Ceramics - Sicily Home Design is a new, young and dynamic project; born in 2016 from the need to satisfy an increasingly demanding and refined clientele.Today we speak of Sicilian artistic ceramics for common places: that's why through our selections we try to make understand to a now globalized market the need to rediscover the products made by hands of the man. We do research and selections, maintaining a high level of quality. The attention and care that we put into the choice of artistic pieces, combined with the profound passion for Sicilian art, led us to create an online store www.ceramichesiciliane.online in order to bring as many users as possible to the "real" Sicilian art

The Museum "Messina in the 1900s" tells the visitor the recent history, that of the last one hundred years with the event of not dispersing the tangible historical and cultural heritage, through synergy with public institutions, starting from the Regional Department of Culture and Sicilian Identity, the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage of Messina, as well as with the support and interest of a dense network of private collectors and important associations not exclusively local. The Museum is located in the city center, on Viale Boccetta, near the motorway junction, obtained thanks to the recovery of the premises of the former "Cappellini Antiaircraft Bunker shelter"
