A free to enter aviation museum across the road from Komatsu airport. Has a big military helicopter outside you can get in, a small number of various small planes and a helicopter inside on display in the main hall, and countless small models and toy planes on display upstairs. They also have flight simulator machines. Some exhibits explained the history of flight and about Komatsu airport, however all is in Japanese. No English explanations. Most of the main hall is taken up by a huge play area for children. There is a slightly overpriced gift shop, vending machines, and a small cafe. Excellent for a free attraction. Worth visiting if passing by or interested in planes.

Komatsu Station west district is an area in which gathers inherited townspeople`s culture, such as the "Children’s` Kabuki on Hikiyama floats", townhouses, temples and shrines. As Komatsu Station west district is the center for culture related facilities, "Komatsu Hikiyama Exchange Center Miyossa" opened in May 2013 around the market street, turning the area into a “Kabuki alley”, and has enhanced the charm of the city as the "City of Kabuki".
