Vester Palsgaard Skovmuseum is situated in an old forest manager’s house from the 1800s in the middle of the forest – and a stone’s throw from the Ancient Road Hærvejen. Move through the cozy living rooms and imagine how the forest manager lived his life. You can also explore the history of how the area transformed from heath to forest or experience the local archeological prehistoric finds. In the small museum shop you can buy nostalgic toys, books, locally produced open-pan salt and our very own honey.
