An art gallery specializing in 19th- and 20th-century American art.
Sometimes it's the setting/location that makes a place and Nedra has it in spades. The historical buildings, classic interior rooms, vault, and art would make this a must stop but add in the garden area and that makes this a very special place. Every staff member would answer questions that I'm sure they are asked dozens of times per day. It's educational along with great art viewing.

While most of the art focuses on the Native American and Latino/a artists native to the area, many of the gallery have all sorts of art. It’s worth planning a long walk with visits to the many, many galleries even if art purchases are not on your menu. Fascinating.

Meyer Gallery, founded in 1967 by Darrel and Jeri Meyer, opened with the purpose to exhibit the finest in contemporary representational art. After 20 years of achieving just this, the Meyer’s and their son Dirk opened Meyer Gallery – Santa Fe, on historic Canyon Road. The Santa Fe gallery has evolved into one of the finest in the United States; and over the years, has become a premier destination for discerning collectors worldwide. The gallery works with over 50 living artists, both emerging and well established; whose influences are deeply connected to the many master painters and sculptors of the past. With a fresh commitment, these artists continue to exploring this timeless genre. Offered to collectors for purchase are landscape, figurative and still life paintings and a large selection of bronze sculptures. Each year the gallery is privileged to host a series of exhibitions by gallery artists. Artist receptions, held at the gallery, are on Friday evenings between 5-7pm and are open to the public. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to follow your favorite artists through our constantly updated website.
As an artist my favorite part of visiting Santa Fe is going to Canyon Street to visit the galleries. My husband and I both love the Meyer Gallery and have gone there on every trip to Santa Fe. They represent many fantastic artists and Jonathan is an amazing host...very engaging and informative.

So glad we did this on a Sunday morning. There were visual artists, Indian jewelry, clothing, rugs, rocks and snacks. The vendors were very warm and welcoming. It was like visiting with friends.
