One of the coolest museums of regional studies in Russia! It is situated in the modern looking building on the shore of the Miass river. The plaque on the outside wall of the museum tells about the leading role of the first governor of the Chelyabinsk oblast in the development of this museum. The museum gets groups of schoolchildren. I could spend the whole day here. The top attraction is the meteorite from Chebarkul. I was absorbed by the history exhibits of all time periods.

"Experimentus" - is one of the youngest and the most amazing museum of Chelyabinsk, all the exhibits which demonstrate physical, chemical, and natural phenomena, also make them interesting and entertaining. At the science museum you can touch everything (and you should!): press all the buttons, twist all the cogs and even participate in the experiments. But you should not think that it will be interesting only for children: among the visitors of our museum are children from three years old and students, pupils and their parents, and even their parents' parents! Museum "Experimentus" gladden its visitors from all over the world for five years. Since the opening (28 July 2011) more than 40,000 people have visited our museum, including guests from the USA, UAE, Germany, France, Israel, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Italy, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkey, China, England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada, Colombia, Greece, Malaysia, and Austria.
