We were given a chance to make our own emerald necklace and purchase some at a great discount. The mockup of an actual mine was very interesting.

This is the house where Rafael Nunez lived and died, a most illustrious Cartagenero who sat as president of Colombia at four different ocassions. Inside this house, fundamental ideas were born that later would create one of Colombia's biggest political reforms in the 19th Century: The Constitution of 1886. This was colombia's guideline document until 1991, year in which the current Carta Magna was signed.
Interesting airy house just outside the wall. Great furniture. Small park across the street. Small collage exhibit. Free.

The most exciting cultural centre of the city with art gallery, art-coffee, hotel boutique and university, together in a magic and relaxing atmosphere.
Summary: hidden gem, awesome courtyard, great, amazing coffee, must try limonada de café and soda de cafe. Support local artist by visiting gallery! We stumbled upon this jewel while searching for a food court. The grand entrance offered a glimpse at a beautiful courtyard with mature trees. Upon entering the peace and serenity of the courtyard along with the sound of trickling water from the fountain invited us to explore. I stumbled upon Oscar who is the barista at the café and he explained that the art gallery, courtyard and café was open to public and invited us to view the art. Once finished we went to the café which is located at a corner of the building and found Oscar tending to his cold drip coffee. He kindly explained the process and provided further information on what the café offers. We signed up for a coffee tasting the next day. The experience was great! Oscar is a super knowledgeable barista and left us with a lot of information on brewing techniques, roasting qualities, and how to really get the most out of a good cup of coffee. I highly recommend dropping by to experience a great atmosphere and learn about coffee. Lastly, the café has two amazing REFRESHING drinks which are patented and unique to this place. Limonada de café and café soda. Both great options to get your caffeine kick!

This is one of those wonderful places you stumble across while wandering through funky Getsemani. There is art for every taste and budget. While some of the paintings can be found elsewhere in the city, you owe it to yourself to browse and ask questions of the helpful staff.

Museo del Oro Zenú is part of the regional network of Museo del Oro, Bogota. It hosts the golden adornments of the Zenú people that lived in the Caribean plains two thousand years ago, and their ceramics, and it states that Zenues still live and preserve their way of living near Cartagena.
This is a very good museum with a stunning display of gold artifacts, they are well displayed and definitely worth seeing

Very interesting and varied works of art to view in a building that itself holds great architectural value.
