Bosnia and Herzegovina's fascinating capital Sarajevo nestles among dramatic peaks, a bustling and welcoming city. War took its toll, with the 1992-1996 siege hitting hard. But the lively, diverse, museum-rich city has been almost entirely reconstructed. Don't miss Bijambare caves, set in thick forests and amid lakes to the north of the city, or Bosna Springs, from which the country takes its name. Site of 1984's Winter Olympics, Sarajevo offers spectacular skiing on Mount Bjelasnica Jahorina.

We warmly suggest to take this tour on in order to consciously experience the Bosnian capital, to understand its distinctive architecture along with its welcoming people. Ms Dzenana guided us through the memories of Sarajevo in a two-days-trip that we will remember forever...There's nothing better than studying a heart-breaking past while looking at the beautiful contradictions of this small cosy city. We appreciated Dzenana' selection of highlights, the wise alternance of didactical moments and relax at cafes, her enthusiast attitude and her accuracy.

We had a wintery adventure for our anniversary in April and Kenan kept us safe for the whole 10 hours trek. He knows lots and lots about the wilderness and history of the Dinaric Alps and supplied us with delicious treats along the way! It was quite the challenge with all the snow, but absolutely worth it.

I have been a few times before in Sarajevo but this was the first time doing a walking tour. Booked online with Satur travel and it was a good decision and a wonderful experience. Our guide was Alen who showed us all the attractions with some included that I have never heard before. We also did a coffee break in Bascarsija and tried the best burek ever. The concept of the tour was easy going with a lot of interesting stories and all with a great sense of humor

Luka is a really nice guy, and definitely knows every little story about Zagreb! Not too much walking, but you get to see quite a lot of places - Luka was even nice enough to take photos for us. A very fun tour, highly recommended!
Two major historical factors made the Balkans what they are today: The primary was the gash of the Roman Empire in the fourth century a.d., separating the Balkans along the middle into Roman Catholic (west) and Byzantine Orthodox (east) The following was the invasion of the Islamic Ottomans in the 14th century. This will allow us to be the witnesses of authentic historic buildings, great value of town exploring where east meets west. With this tour, you’ll discover charming towns and unexplored natural wonders. Drive along the streets that encircle romantic Sarajevo, wander through the Roman ruins in the heart of bustling Jajce. Feel the spray from the waterfalls at Kravice waterfalls National Park. Drive Mountain passes in Bosnian’s idyllic mountains. And take side-trips to Bjelasnica’s impressive ski resort and the Turkish-flavored city of Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Nice guy (representing “Now Bosnia”), well informed and well presented. Good tour around the old town but perhaps lacking in historical data. He answered all our questions but was more interested in us and used us as a sounding board for his business plans.
Herzegovina, an amazing region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. An unavoidable part of our country when travelling around Bosnia and Herzegovina or even between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik or Split or perhaps Montenegro too. The land is known as Duke’s or Herzog’s land, an area so unique and so diverse that this 5 day Herzegovina Journey must be something at least worth considering. We honestly recommend it, with our without Sarajevo Funky Tours. Our job is just to create buzz about Herzegovina, but it is your job to decide whether yes or no. However, we believe that Herzegovina Journey package is a great multi-day product offering the best this region can offer, as diverse combination, of breathtaking scenery, lots of interesting history, incredibly tasty food (especially grapes and wines), and finally happy You. Happy you - one who took chances and finally broke all of the prejudice.
