The oldest university in the world isn’t Oxford or the Sorbonne—it’s the University of Al-Karaouine, and you’ll find it in Fes el Bali. This walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will transport you back to medieval times. Visit the ancient maze-like quarters of the Medina to Fes el-Bali and the four imposing Gates of Fes, with their distinctive Moroccan tile work. You can walk, or, if you're brave, take a taxi—the daredevil drivers will have you hanging on for dear life.

Booked a private transfer from Tangier Airport. Driver didn't show up. None of the phone numbers provided in their automated pickup notification worked, all phones turned off. Googled another phone number. Someone picked up, promised to help and never called back. After my 3rd attempt to call them again, they didn't answer their phone as well. Waited for more than 1 hour until i decided to get a local taxi. Not even worth 1* out of 5.

My 80 year-old father and I visited Morocco in February/March, 2019 and hired Hassan for a customized tour for the portion of our trip that took us from Fez to Volubilis, and Meknes. There aren't many tours of Meknes, and my father grew up there, so we were looking for a very specific, non-touristy itinerary for much of our time there. Not only was Hassan an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide, but he assisted in fulfilling my father's dream of revisiting his childhood homes, helping us locate the houses after 35 years and many street name changes. Hassan was very thoughtful of my father's age and quirks, was accommodating, and very personable. We even hired Hassan for a quick tour of Casablanca and Rabat, which we hadn't planned ahead of time. Luckily for us, Hassan made the time to take us to the major attractions there as well. I can't thank Hassan enough for his hospitality, professionalism, and knowledge. He made a trip of a lifetime possible and an old man happy to revisit his youth. I would not hesitate to give Hassan my highest recommendation!

My wife and I booked a day trip to Chefchaouen with Perfect Travel Excursions. Yahya, our driver, was very friendly knowledgeable. He is a very responsible driver and took us to Chefchaouen in a large comfortable van and introduced us to the history of the city before providing us with free time to explore. Chefchaouen is a very beautiful city that is not to be missed! After the tour, he showed us some good places to drink tea and eat dinner in Fez. We had such a great time that we asked Yahya to show us the sights around Fez the following evening and transfer us to the airport when it was time to go. Anyone considering excursions from Fez should highly consider booking with Perfect Travel Excursions.

We booked the 7 day tour in December 2019, for our trip to Morocco in March 2020. We arrived in Tanger from Paris on March 13. Hassan, our tour guide meet us we cleared security and we immediately knew we we're in good hands, as he promptly assisted us with getting our 3 phones Orange SIM cards so we could let our families know that we arrived. From Tanger, we drove to Chefchoen where we stayed over night at Riad Assilah. Shortly after returning from supper, we received our first flight cancellation for the following week due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This was the evening of March 13th. The following morning, we drove from Chefchoen to Fes; as we left Chefchoen later than planned, we arrived in Fes late afternoon (missing our planned tour of the Medina). In an effort to make up for lost time, Hassan took us to a great little "authentic" restaurant and then we checked into Riad Sara Resort, after which Hassan took us to the Poterie de Fes and the beautiful ruins of Borj Nord. On the morning of March 15th, finally having made alternative travel arrangements for our cancelled flight - we spent most of the day touring Fes. With the tour guide that Mohamed had arranged, we visited the Fes el Jedid and the Jewish Quarter before going into the Medina. In the Medina, we had great interactions with the herboriste, the textile maker and at the tannery (among others). Following our Medina tour, we soon came to the realization that the Covid-19 situation was escalating faster than we had expected and we were advised to travel to Casablanca immediately, in attempt to find alternative travel arrangements yet again, as news of Moroccan Air Space being closed was looming. So rather than heading to the Dessert as planned, we made our way to Casablanca. This was late afternoon of March 15. Although our Tour came to a halt less than 48 hrs after arriving in Morocco, Hassan stayed with us for the next 3.5 days as we attempted to find flights back to Canada. Throughout this extremely high stress time, even after having just met us – Hassan ensured that we were safe and looked after, by navigating the language barriers, securing accommodations at Hotel Maamoura, ensuring we had food as the Moroccan Gov started mandating the closure of amenities and driving us on a moment's notice, back and forth to the Airport, before finally driving us from Casablanca to Marrakech to catch our flight out of the country. We're extremely thankful to have Hassan with us during those days of chaos - we're not sure what we would have done without him! We hope to visit Morocco again soon to finish our Tour with Hassan & Morocco Fabulous Travel!

Wanderlust helped my family and I to plan a multi week tour through Morocco, including stays in Tangier, Fes, Chefchaouen, Marrakech, Essaouira, and others. Ibrahim, our driver and primary guide, helped us get throughout the country and took spectacular care of us like we were his own family, to include my toddler who began waking up every day asking to "Ride in the bus with Mr Ibrahim". Megan proposed a great itinerary, which allowed us to have a relaxing family adventure. Thank you for such a memorable time!

We booked a 3 day tour to the Sahara , We are two girls and felt extremely safe the entire time.we have the most incredible stay in morocco due to this tour it was completely over our expectations ! Jamal our tour guide and Omar, our driver were the best! They were both so nice and were so informative explaining all the sights along the way. All the towns we passed through were so beautiful but my favourite part of the whole trip was the desert. We went to Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi Dunes and got to spend a night in tents in the Sahara Desert! We got to ride a camel to the desert camp and that was the funnest experience. All the riads we stayed in and the restaurants were fabulous choices. I highly recommend booking a tour with this company MCL . Jamal was so helpful in planning the whole experience and was always readily available on whats app. We truly cannot wait to go back to Morocco.
