Atlanta has been dubbed everything from the "capital of the new South" and "the next international city" to "the best place to do business." It's also a great place to visit. Fueled by the prosperity of local mega companies like Coca Cola and Holiday Inn, the prestige of hosting the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and the energy of young upwardly mobile types who have migrated to the city in droves - Atlanta is on fire. And this time it's a good thing. From world-class restaurants and a myriad of cultural attractions to a hip nightlife and sporting events galore, the city is cosmopolitan in every sense of the word. But Atlanta has also managed to maintain its historic character. Stop by the Atlanta History Center or visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Site, a moving tribute to an American icon. Browse through the former home of famous author Margaret Mitchell or pop into the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum for details on the life and times of the former president and his family. Whether you choose modern urban endeavors or old southern pleasures, Atlanta will not disappoint.

Going to the Starlight Six Drive-In Theater is like taking a step back in time. You turn off your headlights, tune the movie in to your car radio and kick back and enjoy movies on the really big screen.
My new way of watching movies. Glad I found this spot. Cheaper than a normal theater, you can bring you own snacks, foods, drinks and I even saw folks parked in the back smoking ( and no one complained). It’s you own peace of mind space; and you can have a conversation without being shhhhhhh. Bathroom facilities in walking distance and concession stand. Screen is big and you can see clear. Arrive early to get a good spot and turn your lights off if you arrive late so you don’t mess up the viewing for others.

Wow! Best movie experience ever! Our small family of 3 have made it a tradition to stay in Atlanta over Christmas for the past 15 years. We decided this year to go to a movie on Christmas Day. Theaters in Buckhead near our hotel were sold out so we ventured out and found this phenomenal location! I had no idea what we were walking into. The place was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Upon entry, you walk into a lobby lounge area with beautiful brick and stone walls. There are hightop tables, bar chairs and cozy intimate seating areas. Ushers lead us to our seats (which we choose online while driving over) and left us with an extensive food and beverage menu. The tiered theater seating was unbelievably spacious with the most luxurious reclining chairs. We ordered a few cocktails and popcorn. We could see/smell all the dishes that others were ordering.... and were disappointed that we had already eaten prior to the movie. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience we had! We definitely plan to add this as part of our family Christmas Day tradition!
