This hike was TOUGH (we're moderately in-shape young people from sea level) and we questioned if the climb was worth it - until we saw the 360 view at the very top and our questions were answered - YES, DEFINITELY WORTH IT! The early part was actually my favorite - the meadows and flowers and sparse trees were so peaceful and gorgeous and there weren't a lot of people on the trail like previous days we spent at lower elevations. But most of the hike is across unique tundra. The wind made it pretty unpleasant but died off right at the summit. And the views at the summit were better than I ever could have guessed! You can see all the way to Lake Estes down the valley, and across to Long's Peak.

Many Parks Curve Overlook

This was an unexpected stop for us but offered a beautiful overlook. Driving Trail Ridge Road can bring a lot of anxiety so this was a great way to take a break and relax. I highly recommend making this stop.
