Stunning setting for a walk..advise to be there first thing in the morning and set off walking when its lovely and quiet. We walked up through the old mines first which is an easier route to take for the more leisurely walkers.

Knockboy and Priest's Leap

just returned from a fabulous drive in my olde sports car through the stunning mountain pass, nothing but a couple of sheep on this winding narrow track which meanders towards the clouds. I was taken back by the sheer natural beauty of this idyllic part of west Cork and Kerry, looking forward to visit there again in the near future..........busaman.

Devil's Bit

Reviewed By Fran-Maria - Tipperary, Ireland

The view from the top is amazing. There is a Tower on the way up as another attraction. On a clear day you can view the Shannon. I would recommend that you have comfortable footwear and flat heals for the ladies. If you have Binoculars bring them with you. The road to the carpark is winding so take your time and go extra slow on the decent.
