No issues with staff but the place was not as it appeared online. Very old and rundown looking. Not very clean and coffee maker in room could not be used as it was gross inside and was not clean--not something I could even get clean myself in the bathroom sink. Listened to people above walking around in the middle of the night as the creaking floor was very loud in the room. Very outdated. Not a place I would go back to.

Enjoy comfortable accommodations and warm hospitality in tranquil surroundings. Situated on three verdant acres next to a horse farm, Maple Terrace offers peaceful country living in the heart of Williamstown. Its privileged location is just a short walk from Williams College, the famed Clark Art Institute, Williamstown Theater Festival and many other local attractions.
We have been staying at the Maple Terrace Motel 10 or so days a year for the past 12 years. Why? It is the best in the area. The staff goes overboard to insure we are happy. Every year we stay there we see improvements we never knew needed improving. This year the parking lot was was repaved and relined. In spite of Covid we felt safe and found no inconveniences. The grounds are beautiful, including the adjoining horse boarding farm seen from the rear of the hotel, along with comfortable chairs, numerous picnic tables, a very large, well maintained swimming pool, and beautiful gardens. Don’t expect modern furniture, but it is clean and comfortable. If in Williamstown, try it…you won’t be sorry you did..

My friend and I are from South Florida and this was our first trip to New England. This hotel was great! Very friendly couple runs it, and it is very convenient to Dunkin’ Donuts, Dollar General, Cumberland Farms and others. The morning we left, the President of the Mohawk Trail organization happened to be there, and helped us plan the next leg of our trip. The room was very affordable, comfortable, and met our needs very well. The only downside is that the address is a little deceiving - it sounds like this motel is in Vermont, when in reality it is located just over the Massachusetts border. We would definitely recommend the Williamstown Motel!

We stayed for 2 nights in early May and we liked the fact that they were not charging a fortune for a decent motel room. It was nothing special but a clean room with all the basic amenities. We were not expecting much in $89/nt but they pleasantly surprised us. We will be back later in the summer.

This scenery was really beautiful and the staff were very pleasant. The rooms and hotel in general were very nice. They have a lovely pool and volleyball court along with a creek. The food was nice too for breakfast you can make your own waffles or there is cereal or bagels or any of those things. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!! Would go again and I recommend to families who want to go and enjoy a peaceful weekend in Berkshire. Downtown is very nice and is a super short drive.

We went to the Berkshires for a wedding. This hotel was on the same road as the reception so it was handy. The room was adequate. There was an eating and living area and a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and made for a good night sleep. They had a continental breakfast which they delivered to the room due to COVID concerns.

Located directly across from Williams College, this motel offers an outdoor pool and a daily continental breakfast. The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute is a minute walk away. Each guest room at the Northside Motel - Williamstown features cable TV, refrigerator, and coffee-making facilities. They are decorated in light colors, wood furnishings, and carpeted floors.
The motel is perfectly situated on the campus of Williams college. It’s old and tired but safe and clean. If you go with the right expectations, it is acceptable. We did not have hot water when we arrived but was available the next morning.
