We only needed an overnight stay and choose this a list on the internet for the proximity to where we had to be and the price. Always risky choosing blindly. We were not disappointed. The check in and check out were easy. The room was clean and comfortable. I cannot speak to other accommodations that we didn’t take advantage of, but I would recommend. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and they have WAFFLES!

From the minute I walked in I felt welcome! The room was very comfortable and quiet. Scott at the front desk was friendly and very helpful getting familiar with the area and the inn. I would definitely return if I am ever in the area.

Staff was very pleasant but everything in the room was sticky. I used the hot water dispenser to make tea and it spit hot water so far that I burned my foot. Definitely leave the dispenser on the provided tray if you use it because water gets absolutely everywhere.

Every other Wyndham property between New England and Florida is very good about allowing late check-ins. You call from your traffic jam and let them know you will be late, and they hold your room. BUT NOT THIS ONE. While I was waiting to check in, I overheard the two groups in front of me get the same rug-pulled-out-from-under treatment. They ignored our calls, and just gave the rooms to other people. UNACCEPTABLE.

Motel 6 Washington DC SW - Springfield is located within 1 mile of area restaurants. Area attractions are the White House-13 miles, Dulles International Airport-20 miles, and Six Flags America-28 miles. Enjoy our modern rooms and free WI-FI.
I did not have high expectations to start, but my expectations were even lower upon arrival. They falsely advertised that the room I paid for would receive would have a mini fridge. After realizing the room did not have a mini fridge as falsely advertised, they said I would have to pay extra for a room with a fridge… even though I supposedly already paid for a room with a fridge. The rooms are not clean. The WiFi barely works. Rooms are musty and not well kept. Again, I wasn’t expecting much, but this is quite literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

I was with my elderly mother and 2 dogs driving from Nc to nh.. we got caught in the terrible traffic due to lack of preparation from Virginia. My husband was able to secure a reservation with Motel6… not our usual standard of hotels however we were in a desperate situation. Due to the severity of the traffic I wasnt going to make a 4pm check in time so I called the hotel several times however there was no answer and then the line turned to a busy/ disconnected tone. We finally got to the hotel at 10pm and we’re greeted but a younger gentleman. I pulled up my reservation and he explained that he was only the night guy and couldn’t honor it. I begged that we had no place else to go and we paid for a night here. He said he could not co firm my reservation therefore would not allow me in. I showed him my drivers license that I was who I said I was and my confirmation of the room…. He refused . I asked him to call his manager and he said no. I tried to call the main line with motel6 and there was no answer… My mother myself and two dogs ended up sleeping in our car outside the motel. It was 20 degrees that night. We were not the only ones in our cars as I found out the next morning so I’m not looking for sympathy. I am however not ever going to support a business that refuses service to paying customer on a night when tragedy hits… Also this was booked through hotels.com and we purchased their $10 guarantee that this wouldn’t happen…. After hours in the phone with them the only thing they could do was refund our hotel stay but not the $10… I will not longer use their service as well.

Small retro motel with a convenient location. Close to the airport, DC, MGM Grand, National Harbor and Gaylord Convention Center. Also, close to Old Town Alexandria and Mount Vernon. Metro is 1/2 mile away.
I came to this property strictly as a means of saving some money. Hotels where my business was being conducted (Arlington, VA) averaged $400/night. At almost 66 years old, I was no stranger to the older 'motels'. As a family, we spent many nights in motels in the 1960's. In today's world, hotels have claimed dominance over the classic 'motor hotel' or motel, yet, they remain a part of the American landscape. Upon my arrival, I was cheerfully greeted by the hotel manager. My entire experience with the check-in, the friendliness of the manager and another individual in the lobby, had taken me back 50+ years. I jokingly asked whether I'd get one of the keys hanging on a diamond shaped plastic fob. Indeed I did. The nice part of a motel is the ability to drive to and park right in front of your room. No schlepping bags through a lobby, up an elevator, then on a 1/2 mile hike to your room. The room was average size with a queen-size bed, pull out sofa, desk, TV, refrigerator and microwave. A large closet had an extra pillow, ample hangers and a luggage stand. The bathroom was a decent size with a tub/shower. Overall, the room was very clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my two nights there. As for the location, there is no shortage of restaurants on Richmond Highway (US Rt. 1), south of the property. There was a diverse offering of ethnic cuisine, several large chain restaurants and fast food options. Just how much did I enjoy my stay? I plan to return.....

pacious room, ok bed, heat works, plenty of hot/cold water in sink and shower, felt safe, Indian restaurant on property (leased to someone else). Even though the hotel looked busy, I did not hear any loud disturbances. The room was dirty and outdated. The linen and bedspread were of very bad quality and worn out. All surface areas needed cleaning and clearly were not cleaned after the last person used the room or for a very long time. The phone had baked on grime/dirt from years of not being cleaned. Towels were not stocked (missing a towel), some shampoo, but barely enough for one person. The WIFI was limited and regularly dropped my connection and had a very weak signal – it did not work at first, but the front desk clerk fixed it and tried to act like it was working all along. Don’t get me wrong, I will never stay here again, but if you are driving and can bring your own linen, cleaning supplies, and vacuum you can save a lot of money visiting the area (I forgot to mention the big stink bug that landed on my pillow while I was reading). There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, so getting to the metro rail is convenient to get to downtown DC. The hotel is just over a mile to 495 Beltway.

My spose and I were harrassed by the housekeepers an hour early after i recommended a late checkout even though the website says yoy can do late checkout for 10 dollars an hour up to several hours they only allowed me 30 to 40mins. After 50 mins i was gathering my belongings the front desk man came up to the room to harass us more and actually tried to break into the room with his key without knocking or announcing himself while my spouse was actyally gettin dressed. I told him i just needed a few more minutes to get everything and he threatened amd insisted on calling the police on me and stormed downstairs and did just that, I have never been so humiliated in my life and harassed consecutively by numerous staff, i would even recodmend this place to a homeless person, very nasty and not clean, they dont follow any request i put prior to arrival, and nothing but aggression and attitude from all of the staff members as if they dont want to work there. Nothing about this experience was pleasant and i will be sure to leave my expierience in every feedback section of the internet i can on this particular location because they are misleading guest and should be led by a new team of employees and managment.
