This hotel gave a mixed experience. I love the Tibetan style, the rooms were nicely done to a high quality and the location was great, right opposite Labrang Monestary All good. The TV had movies we could access for free. The hotel staff were sweet Tibetan women who spoke very little English. Disappointments: it just seems they don't have much experience running a hotel. Our room was not serviced at all, we had no toilet paper or tissues in our room when we arrived. They gave us one roll and that was not replaced for the entire time we were there. They have not removed the plastic covers from the bed so you slip around all night on a slippery hard bed. The breakfast had no western options. You know, I enjoyed some aspects of this hotel, with a few changes it could be great.

We had to stay at this hotel on our way from xiahe to langmusi. It obviously caters to businesspeople. Due to the time we came there, we got a discount of roughly 20% on the double room. It was very clean, checkout very early in the morning was possible. Within walking distance from central bus station. But be advised that some busses (like the one to langmusi) go from south bus station, for which a taxi is advised. Also, no english. The girl behind the reception smiled nicely, talked to us in chinese (which we dont understand) and made no effort to make herself understandable by e.g. Gesticulation. Luckily, a few passants from the street could help. Later, within the room, a guy speaking english very well came by our room to clarify some of our booking information. Though we ar not sure whether he actually was from the hotel. Anyway, be prepared to be frustrated communicationwise if you dont speak chinese. Else, good place.

去年就住过一次九色酒店,上个月带朋友又去住了,在同档次的酒店中应该是非常好的了,电梯有的啊,是不是有人走错了地方啊?最满意的是卫生还有电话上网全免费,

I stayed at Sana Hotel during the latter part of June, 2021. For obvious reasons, there were not many Western travellers in Langmuusi; unfortunately, there's essentially no English spoken in the area, and even more frustratingly, I *still* don't speak any Mandarin. My experience at Sana Hotel made clear I really need to work on improving my language deficiencies. At any rate, here is the following about Sana Hotel: What you will get if you book a room: A clean room A clean bathroom and shower with ample hot water What you will not get: No tea No coffee No breakfast No soap No laundry service No daily room cleaning I found out about the room cleaning bit after coming back from a long hike at 2pm; I was expecting the bathroom would be clean and, admittedly, became a bit agitated when I discovered it wasn't. My attempts at trying to convey to the owners that I'd like my room made-up were met with feigned confusion on their part; this prompted me to call Tibetan Overseas Hotel in Xiahe, as I'd just stayed there and they have English speaking staff, and ask them to explain to Sana Hotel that I wanted my bathroom cleaned with fresh towels and my bed made-up. After speaking with Tibetan Overseas Hotel, they reluctantly made-up my room, but the reason I say they "feigned" confusion is because the very next few days, they had other guests - but all Chinese - and they made-up the rooms for everyone. So I really can't explain why they initially didn't want to make-up my room. As other reviews have mentioned, the first floor of this hotel is a sports apparel shop. The nights can be quite chilly in Langmusi, and I attempted to buy a sweatshirt they had on their racks. I paid for the sweatshirt, then made a scissors cutting motion with my fingers, meaning I wanted the price-tag cut off. The young lady working there took the sweatshirt from me and went into her inventory room, where she proceeded to rummage through unopened sweatshirts, trying to find the same type as the one on the rack that I just paid for. My attempts at letting her know I was happy to take the one from the rack weren't successful; and after about ten minutes of searching through her inventory, she came out with two different sweatshirts, neither of which were the type from the rack, and neither of which were a size that would fit me. Again I tried to convey I'd be happy to take the one from the rack, but again, this didn't work. I gave up and left the hotel to find a pace to eat. Finally: Langmusi is an interesting little town, but it's growing VERY fast and as such, it's a noisy little town. Construction goes on well past 10pm, and begins well before 7am. Sana Hotel as a very central location - which is good - but be aware you're going to hear a lot of noise.
