Very unpleasant stay. Lack of housekeeping and lying hotel owner/manager. HK skipped our room 2 days in a row. However, they did clean our other friends rooms. Manager/Owner said we were 1) in the room when HK came or we had a DND sign on....therefore that's why they didn't clean it. NEITHER WERE TRUE - Day 1 - we left at 930a -- HK was still there. Day 2 - left hotel at 745A - I even called the hotel to remind them to clean room. Day 2 he said that his HK staff didn't show up. SORRY That's not my problem. AS The owner or manager- he should have got off his butt and cleaned the rooms. There were only 4 rooms. How hard can that be??? When we asked for clean towels because the rooms weren't cleaned - he refused to provide them until we returned the dirty towels so that he could COUNT THEM! What a great customer experience! Needless to say.... He was a jerk... We ended up moving to another hotel at 8pm that night..... just because he was such an ____ and we wanted showers with clean towels! BIKERS: Highly suggest that you don't stay here. The motel entrance is extremely steep and located on a busy main road. It's virtually impossible to see both ways in order to get out of the drive. Definitely NOT SAFE. Find a different motel.

King and double queen rooms uniquely decorated. Let the whole family spread out in our fully furnished 3 bedroom apartment. Enjoy our beautiful views overlooking Beaver Lake. Be sure and catch the colorful sunsets from your private balcony or deck. You will most likely see the deer come up to browse in the evening or early morning. Come and visit for some peace and quiet.
This hotel stay was amazing. The jacuzzi tub works great and is a steal in price. The room was clean and staff very friendly. The views of the lake make it worth staying outside of town. We'll be back in the warmer months to do some diving.

The Wanderoo Lodge is steeped in the spirit of adventure! Under new ownership (as of 8/25/17) and welcoming guests interested in experiencing the best that Eureka Springs and the Ozarks have to offer! Our rooms and cabins offer a centrally-located hub for all Eureka Springs activities. Historic downtown is walkable, as are nearby trails and Black Bass Lake. The seasonal pool is the largest in town, and the only salt water pool in Eureka Springs. The bar and restaurant (open early 2018) will serve at a central gathering spot for Eureka locals and guests from all over! With the Ozark Zipline next door, a trolley stop on-site, and kayak rentals (coming April 2018), you'll love the new experience at the Wanderoo Lodge!
You would need to be camping in a tent to find less expensive accommodations in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This is a midcentury era motel with a pool and a personality all it's own. The rooms are not perfect but they are just fine. Our room was clean, pleasant and came with a minifridge with a small freezer, microwave and a large flat screen tv. The furnishings are a blend of vintage midcentury, steam punk and modern. The bathroom in our room appears to be original. It looks a bit tired but is clean and charming. The restaurant, The Gravel Bar, is completely updated. It has live music, a full bar and a small but interesting menu for lunch and dinner. There are also 3 small cabins for rent. I forgot to mention the best part! Our single queen room goes for $49/night!! For those who like kitsch and a little imperfection this is a place to check out!

It was clean, a place to sleep, nothing exceptional. Cable didnt work the last day we were there, don’t use their Wi-Fi it is rated as not secure. We saw one deer, and the back is wooded. It didn’t impress us so we won’t be back.

Close to town and the Great Passion Play. This Inn is family-friendly, with a park-like setting, outdoor picnic area and swimming pool with free WiFi and a lovely Hospitality Room.
My daughter had a 'destination wedding' at the Thorn Chapel. We drove in from DC area and arrived Saturday, grandkids come over to visit and they started a firepit and gave the grandkids marshmallows to roast. Wonderful time! We were using my room to get ready for wedding and they came and asked if we wanted to use their game room, which was very kind but we were already set up, but it was the thought. Great view (loved the lady who said 'the view could have been better' goodness!), great room and great people. Very happy

The hotel is older but not in terrible shape. It is outside of town enough to be quiet and still close to restaurants and shops. Friendly staff! Cons: Shower had mold in grout, no room service available. Pillows horribly flat (bring your own!). Mattress covered in plastic, very noisy. Walls thin, could hear neighbor's conversations. Not enough parking for rooms!!!!! Outdated locks on doors. Still use actual keys!!!!

We paid $70 for this property. It’s more than dated..it’s never been updated. It smells strongly of mildew and something else I couldn’t quite identify. It was a last minute booking. I couldn’t get the tv to turn on. Luckily we only slept here and did not hang out.

Stayed here on a Friday night and got the last room. I had my doubts but they faded as soon as we walked into the room. Updated nicely and immaculate. Well stocked and had microwave and fridge. There was no pool or breakfast but that didn't matter to us. There are plenty of restaurants all around and the downtown historical shopping is right up the road. I left my jewelry on the dresser and when we went back, the manager already had it all packed up to mail to me. He was awesome! Thank you so much. Highly recommend and the Roasted Pig Barbeque Cafe is right across the street. Best coleslaw and potato salad I've ever had! Thank you Alpine Lodge!
