Whether you're into history, culture, outdoor adventures or just in need of some new and unique scenery, Albuquerque offers exciting attractions for all ages and interests, anytime of the year. In the historic section of Old Town, ancient Indian and Spanish cultures come to life through old churches, quaint shops and piazzas, winding brick paths and adobe benches. Browsers can spend a whole day making their way through the more than 100 stores, boutiques and galleries that sell Southwestern goods as well as unique products from around the world. During the winter holiday season, Old Town is adorned with small lit candles and thousands come to stroll through the streets, listen to live music and celebrate. It is truly a sight to see. But the history doesn't stop there. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and the Petroglyph National Monument offer a glimpse of old Indian customs and art. Families will find plenty to do at the Albuquerque Biological Park, which features a zoo, aquarium and botanic garden. Outdoor types will find ample opportunities for hiking, biking and golf. After working up an appetite, head to any number of fine restaurants that serve up a choice of hot or even hotter New Mexican cuisine. To top it all off, take a ride on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway for spectacular views of all this vibrant city has to offer.

A jewel of the Southwest! We are closely located to Old Town, Botanical Gardens, Aquarium, and other tourist areas. Clean rooms with a Southwest flare and expanded Hot breakfast with fresh fruit,Waffles boiled eggs Pastries and more are few of our amenities. Also includes Heated indoor pool with free WIFI. Sandia Peak Inn takes pride in its service and adds a personal touch from the moment you walk in.
Very clean and nice. Friendly woman at check in. The only problem is , it’s by an intersection, in the center of town. Sounds like warm up at the drag races. Truck races , car races , crotch rocket motorcycle races , and horn honking . I am used to absolute quiet. I am writing this while laying in bed , hoping these yayhoos get tired and go home. I didn’t get much sleep last night , and it seems I won’t tonight either.

Nice value hotel!! The hotel was right off I-40. We’ve stayed here numerous time over the last 5 years. It’s been consistent. Rooms are always nice and clean and the desk clerks are very friendly. They do have a security person at night which is very comforting. Breakfast had a good spread.

Looking for a place near Albuquerque Old Town I saw this modern retro looking motel I’ve been travelling to the USA for a long time and is how old school motels can survive. Modernised light rooms, fantastic showers and good bed with very modern fittings. Welcome drinks in the super retro trendy bar area, with a dj on later in the evening

I booked thru expedia, which is usually good. Arrived at 7p. They had cancelled my res @ 6. Room was filthy, grimy floor, stains on curtains, lamp shades. Lighting was at 60 watts in all lamps, bathroom fixtures encrusted with build up. smoke alarm torn off, no hangers (nor did they have any) Place looked like at flop house. complained to expedia. Had to call police one night due to large argument where some one was saying they were going to kill someone else. Ended up being robbed.

This is a place that shouldn't be charging more than $25/night...no blanket, sheets had cigarette holes, no way to turn TV off (had to ask how to get the stupid thing off), bathroom was dirtier than room, room was supposed to be non-smoking, but the cigarette smell was overwhelming!

We had a very poor experience here. We checked in the evening of Wednesday November 11th. We were given room 234 and upon entering the room we discovered there was no electricity in the room. At all. So I went down and told the guy working the front desk and he reassigned us to room 236. We entered 236 and discovered in this room the heater didn't work and someone had used the toilet. It had urine in it and a big wad of toilet paper. I went back to the front desk and told the guy and he began arguing with me, all but calling me a liar. He asked if I wanted a refund and I said no, I just wanted a good room. He told me he wouldn't keep moving us from room to room and I told him it wasn't my fault the rooms he gave us were bad. I told him to check the security camera, which he did, and he said the only person going into our room before us was the cleaning lady. Well no kidding. He argued with me some more then refunded my money and told us to leave. This is very poor customer service. All I wanted was a decent room for the night but Motel 6 is Motel 6. We left and found a different motel which was very nice. I invite anyone from Motel 6 management to contact me about this.

A bright and clean hotel with interior corridor and ample parking. Conveniently located next to the I-40 exit entering Albuquerque from East. Now under new ownership and professional management since August 2020.
What a dump. First room we were sent to the beds were still not made and that was at 6pm. Changed rooms. Dog on our floor started barking. Front desk clerk said he couldn't do anything about it as they were paying guest. To top it off no one asked for our breakfast tickets. 7am of about 12 people eating breakfast about half were clearly homeless with their backpacks or bags.

Motel 6 MUST close and and refurbish this place, Dirty, terrible smell, dangerous place. U HAVE 2 CLOSE, INVEST MONEY, CLEAN AND REBUILD IT THEN RE OPEN. I travelled all arounf the world in terrible places, poor hotels but clean and safe, this one was a mess, Two guys in the parking lot at night with shotguns to prevent assault. I've been in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and I've never seen such a dangerous and dirty places like this motel. Follow my advice, close, re model all the motel and re open.
