Reviews on Moroccan food in Ouarzazate, Souss-Massa-Draa Region, Morocco. The tiny Moroccan town of Ouarzazate is a caramel-colored oasis set against a clear blue African sky. Be inspired by Ait Benhaddou, a beautifully preserved Kasbah that's a UNESCO World Heritage site, or walk in the starry path of celebrities by taking a tour of one of Ouarzazate's two movie studios. Tour the surrounding dunes on camel-back, or simply bask in the quiet bustle of the bargaining sessions at local markets.

We dined at 3Thes on one evening of Ramadan month and we were served excellent salads, tajine and pizzas. All that we ordered was really great taste and the conversation with the owner was interesting too.He went out of the way to give us a take-away for my wife and delighted us additionally.

We stopped at Dar Isselday on the long drive from Mhamid to Marrakech. We enjoyed a wonderful leisurely meal in a lovely setting on one of their terraces. Many drivers stop at the tourist restaurants which have all the hustle of Marrakech. For a wonderful & relaxing experience have your driver staop at Dar Isselday.

Kasbah Tazentoute invites you to savor its typical dishes, Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine with local products. We also offer cooking classes with organic products that you can pick up on our farms.
Nora is a mom of many children who makes a sumptuous tazine meal for all! Her fresh salad of tomatoes, onions and cucumbers was so refreshing, fresh, and delicious! The lunch of chicken was huge, too big for my husband and I to eat!!! The chicken was cooked to perfection, as were all the vegetables. We met two of Nora's children, who are delightful!!!! Freshly cut oranges were our dessert, sprinkled with cinnamon. Nora is just lovely! Her home is cozy and spotless! I am thrilled we came to eat here!

The restaurant is located in a housing area and so not somewhere you would just stumble across, but it is 100% worth a little bit of effort to find. There is a parking area 50m from the restaurant, 20 dirhams and the guy keeps an eye on the car as well. Once you get into the restaurant it is simply stunning, absolutely amazing decor and interior design. Even if the food wasnât great (which it is) it would be worth going for the interior alone.Didier (the owner) made us feel very welcome and the food was outstanding. We both had the mixed cold starters with âsamosasâ which were like lovely veg spring rolls. All of the small dishes were excellent and plenty of it as well. My wife is vegetarian and this was all fine for her as well. Then the main courses were also v good. A basil and cheese tagliatelle for my wife (made to order) and the tastiest tagine yet for me.Superb restaurant, stylish, friendly and great food. For a location and food like this in the UK you would be paying at least 5 times as much. Definitely worth a visit

Ovelix Il n'y a pas de bonne cuisine si au départ elle n'est pas faite par amitié pour celui ou celle à qui elle est destinée.
We tried Restaurant Overlix after not being able to find another restaurant in the same area. It was very quiet, which can sometimes be a bad sign, but the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous, presented in a classy fashion. Worth a visitwelcome
