One of the world’s fashion capitals, Milan offers endless opportunities for chic shopping. The enchanting mosaics and glass vaults of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II make shoppers feel like they’re wandering inside a painting. Monumento a Indro Montanelli

Reviewed By Taxidevil - Glasgow, United Kingdom

This very nice statue of a famous Italian journalist Indro Montanelli and is situated near the entrance to a park at Piazza Cavour. Without knowing anything about the statue it is easy to tell it is a journalist because of the typewriter on his lap and he is sitting on a pile of newspapers. The statue is larger than life. We passed it many times and frequently a rose had been placed on the typewriter. Fittingly the park was renamed for the Journalist in 2002.
