It would mean nothing to you unless you read Golden Calf book, or at least watch a movie. There are good subtitles available in English (including subtle humour translation) and you would learn a lot about former USSR early years

Absolutely worth a visit. Unbelievable to imagine the horrors that took place at this park in Kyiv during WWII. Parking was relatively easy and there is a metro stop nearby.

Take a walk passed all the Soviet era military vehicles to this huge impressive statue. The second World Monuments next to the statue are impressive.

Me and my friend had our photo taken at this statue. I'm not sure, but I think we have to get married now. It has something to do with good luck marriage, or romance or something when you rub the beetle on the woman's rear end. I think they are characters from a book or a play, kind of like Scarlet O'hara and Clark Gable in Gone with the Wind. I guess it works. She rubbed the beetle and now we're getting married soon.
