Gaelic Chieftain Sculpture

Reviewed By Bozeman-Dublin - Trim, Ireland

I try to pull in here whenever I am in the Boyle/Sligo area as there are cracking views of Lough Key and the surrounding area not to mention this being a lovely statue in itself. Pulled in today with friends and they had never been before. They lived it as I do. Big car park and plenty of benches to sit on, chat, eat if you want to and just admire the views.

Galway City Museum

The Galway Museum illustrates Galways's long history, going back to medieval times. Galway's connection with the sea is prominent. The modern era deserves well-earned attention. The Museum is by the river, it is easy to find. The museum is moderately large, it's worth a couple of hours. Entry is gratis.
