We ran into these two lions in front of Mitsukoshi Department Store in Nihonbashi when we visited the flagship store. These are modeled after lions at Trafalger square. They're beautifully detailed, and everyone who passes by comes and pats their paws. We watched gaggles of schoolkids pass by giving little roars as they saw the lions. Very cute.

We were walking from the Tsukiji Market to Tokyo Station when we came upon the Chirori Memorial. It was a sweet and touching memorial. Nice for a quick stop.
