We choose this place because it was in the old district. The accommodation is very good and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. It's a great area close to the tourist bus loop. Make sure you go to Kenrokuen Gardens early to enjoy without the crowds.

Staff speaks fluent English and helped us a lot ! My family stayed here for 2 nights. Also, when we had any problems, they replied the emails quickly and gave us clear information. I really recommend Saik when you are coming to Kanazawa!!

We stayed here for 2 nights in January and it really is the perfect place to stay in Kanazawa. It’s right on one of the most beautiful old streets and we enjoyed walking around the area in the mornings before it got busy. It was also easy walking distance to the castle and market. We used the loop bus and JR bus to get from/to the station with our bags. The room was lovely and traditional with tatami mats and comfy futons. Even though it was winter and an old building we were very cosy in the room with the modern heating unit. The shared toilets and shower/bathroom were very good and there’s a nice round metal bathtub. It was nice to have robes to go to/from the bathroom. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and we managed to communicate perfectly well with small amounts of English. We asked our accommodation in Tokyo to make the reservation for us by phone when we arrived in Japan and that worked very well. We’d definitley recommend staying here. Thank you for a great stay!

This was the highlight of our holiday. Beautiful surrounds, lovely decor at a special place in Noto. Chikako and Ben are passionate and proud of their place, and so they should. Delicious food sourced and farmed locally. The tatami bed was very comfortable and it was a delight to soak in a handmade wooden bath - so luxurious and comfortable!

This hotel is run by elderly couple who are very kind and heart warming people. Dinner and breakfast were also very nice. Sea food were simply cooked, but were very fresh and directly from near fish market. The owner used to be a tuna fisherman who goes a port of India, Kenya, etc, so he has eyes to buy good fish. The bath is also very special, and was real hot spring with a rich mineral which made my skin very good condition. They draw grand water and heat it for comfortable temp. The water is weak alkali of ph7.9. Toilet and bath are shared, and you need to sleep on the FUTON.

Everything about Furari is great. It's small and cozy. Just 3 rooms. It's very clean, the family owners are extremely nice, and the food is excellent. Situated an easy hour drive from Kanazawa, Furari is set off the main road, across a river. There are very few houses around, and during our 3 night stay, we only saw a line of monkeys walking on the wall by the river. The building itself is over 100 years old. It has been refurbished but keeping the old feel with the original, wonderful wooden beams. The reception, kitchen, two bathrooms, toilet and one bedroom are on the first floor, and two bedrooms with individual toilets are on the second. The tables in the dining room room are irori type, which means they have a hearth in the middle for cooking and keeping foods hot. The baths are made from hinoki (type of cypress). A must for anyone looking for somewhere quiet to stay in the area.
