Reviews on Middle Eastern food in London, England, United Kingdom. Ancient tradition and contemporary trend meet in age-old London. One of the most cosmopolitan and dynamic destinations on earth, for centuries the British capital has been on the forefront of whatever has been deemed cutting edge, en vogue, and topical. A thriving metropolis of several million people with a global reach and a worldly outlook, London is at its heart a series of small, interconnected villages with the framework and infrastructure of a modern city joining them together, yet seldom denying each its own distinctive character.

I just wanted to say a big 'thank you' to Midpoint Restaurant for making my birthday experience so amazing last night! The food was exquisite and the service was extremely efficient, attentive and personable. The singing of ' Happy Birthday' with a tambourine and chorus with the staff was just incredible. It all contributed to the warm, jovial yet tranquil ambience. The location was also a bonus with the dazzling skyline backdrop of the O2 and Canary Wharf buildings - which you could feast your eyes upon whilst tucking into the fresh and succulent taste of their phenomenal mixed shish kebab dish ( and other tasty dishes!)Nothing was too much for the staff for our group booking of 16 guests! Always there with a smile - especially the waitress which we had. Absolutely brilliant! She added to the whole memorable birthday experience! Thank you.Thank You Midpoint Restaurant!Dear Jadavs1078, Firstly, thank you very much for choosing to celebrate your birthday with us! It is a great pleasure to read that you had such an unforgettable experience - from the 'happy birthday' chorus and the dazzling views of Canary Wharf and O2 - to the delicious food as well as brilliant service - hope we helped a little bit in making your celebration more special! Thanks so much for all your kind words and we are all looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, ErkanGeneral Manager

With a 40-year heritage, family-run Noura is London's finest Lebanese restaurant. Blending warm Lebanese hospitality with stunning food, Noura serves a dazzling array of hot and cold mezze, sensational charcoal-grilled meat and fish, homemade breads, past
I went here, based on the reviews here on Tripadvisor, and I'm sorry to say, but it really wasn't great. The staff were not very attentive, and one of the waiters didn't understand anything we were asking... Seemed very lost. It took a long time to get our first drinkes, despite us being the only guests. We ordered the Pre-Theatre menu as we were going to the theatre, which seemed good value. You get 3 mezze to start, but when i asked if i could change one of the 3, I couldn't change it as i wanted. The main, which was Mixed Grill, was very simple. Chicken and lamb skewers were ok, but only came wiht a bit of salad - no rice or anything. Also, the bread to have with hoummus was super dry! Also, the white wine on the list was really bad. I don't normally write negative reviews, but I was just so disappointed - I love lebanese food, but will for sure never go back here again. Ambience is also not great, quite dark and black leather chairs.Dear Carolina,Thank you for your review.I apologise for the experience you have had, As the business owner, I apologise for this personally. The only think i would like to mention is that i have investigated this matter. The waiter served you the food as you requested in the end. The Tabouleh salad instead of the Fatoush. The cocktails do take a while to arrive as they are being made on the spot in our bar next door. The wine was our house wine. The waiter gave you an option to try and change it should you not have liked it. I understand the waiter didn't understand very well what you were saying but its also due to the fact that this new employee is training with us. Hence he took the drinks order from you and the other waiter took the food order afterwards, I ask you have some tolerance with us and other restaurants when food or drinks are late or the waiter makes mistakes. At the end of the day we are an equal opportuinty employer who wishes not to discriminate against anyone. At the end of the day i appreciate your review and your opinion but you must also value our morals. Thank youBest

On 29 September 2019, 3 friends descended on this lovely restaurant tucked away in Highbury Park at short notice. Ali, our host, welcomed us with open arms into the warm friendly atmosphere. We were able to choose a number of courses to share. The food was really good and the wines complimented the dinner. In particular, the House Red Wine: Shiraz-Merlot-kalecik-Bogazkere from Denzil, Turkey, was splendid. Thanks Ali, for a wonderful night.

Right, so I'm not sure what all the fuss is about at all. I ordered the 'Magic Box' and was bitterly disappointed - 7 quid for six blobs of falafel and a bit of salad, which tasted like it was from Tesco (and not even from their Finest range). The sauce was quite pleasant. Was it because I didn't order the infamous wrap? Is that why I had an utterly yawn experience? Surely if an eaterie is so celebrated then all dishes (um, 3) should be excellent?Oh and the chap who served me was rude.Hi,Thank you for sharing your review. We are sorry to hear you experience did not match your expectations. We hope you visit us again so you can get the kind of excellent experience we're known for. Thanks!

We have been looking for some time for a very good Lebanese restaurant as a couple of our favourites have closed down. Although we have tried several, we have never felt quite satisfied. While browsing on the net this one appeared to be worthy of a visit. So we went a couple of weeks ago at 6.30 on a Friday and it was already packed! We ordered Sujuk and Babaganoush for starters and both were very tasty especially the Babaganoush which had a velvety texture and delicate flavour. The Shish Taouk and the Kofta were absolutely gorgeous served with homemade pitta. Just a couple of minor points, my Kofta was warmish and I would have preferred it hotter while the salad although tasty, was a little bit watery making the meat a bit soggy which impinges on the flavour. Overall I will rate it at 4 ½ as it was a very good meal reasonably priced and a generous portion too. We were also given a small tray of Lebanese sweet to take with us.Thank you Francesco for choosing our restaurant and leaving us this great review. So happy to read you loved the Babaganoush... we pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients to create authentic dishes that are bursting with flavour.. Hopefully we can welcome you back again in the future and offer you a 5 star service! Very best wishes from the Grilandia team

We are the offspring of Hiba Express and serve the same delicious homecooked Middle Eastern food with our Palestinian roots infused. From tasty grills to vibrant vegan tastes - there is something for everyone.
The kids wanted Shawarma so we headed to Hiba. Amazing food. The falafels were excellent too. The place is small but still great for families. Everyone is well looked after and attended to by the staff. We will be going again when back in London.

Literally the best cafe and brunch spot Iâve been to for a very very long time - their food is so good and so tasty - their concept is so good too and love their breakfast platters. I think itâs better to go during the week as the weekends can get really busy as their very popular now or try to go early on the weekends to get a table
