I've heard great things about this restaurant. The interior is beautiful and the ambiance (especially in this time of the year when you can sit outside) is just amazing. Unfortunately, service was very bad because we specifically asked for 2 items which were not reflected properly when the food was served. Also, we found the grilled food was not fresh and hard.

Meem Cafe serves Middle Eastern favorites combined with a rich coffee experience. The cafe offers high quality chocolate mug, beef sliders, Lotus Chocolate Molten, their signature Meem tray and the traditional Arabic coffee and a lot more. The Meem Cafe r
Cafe Meem is a modern Middle Eastern restaurant serving exquisite flavor of traditional dishes with contemporary touch. Café Meem has lunched it own pantry items. The items are Traditional favorites with modern touches. The pantry items are made by Mymoune and Zjed in a Lebanese village of Ain El Kabou at Mount Sannine. Mymoune has been in operation for over 25 years. The newly added items are 6 in total; I was interested in trying the 4 below listed items. I requested home delivery. .Orange Blossom Water 500 Ml Orange Blossom Water is scented water frequently found in Lebanese homes, where you'll find it used in culinary preparations as an ingredient; hence it brings the sweet perfume of the orange grove to a variety of dishes. Basically, it is distilled from the petals of orange blossoms. You could easily enjoy it plain with a bit of water and call it âwhite coffeeâ. This item is dark yellow in color with invigorating aroma upon opening it. It reminds me of fresh summer season. .Zattar Baladi 250 Gram - (dried thyme with sesame)Za'atar is a traditionally sun dried thyme herb mixed with salt, roasted sesame seeds and sumac. It is usually mixed with olive oil and used for Manakeesh. I had Meemâs Za'atar with Labne. The flavor was herbal with an apparent sesame flavor. The aroma was strong. .Pomegranate Infused Olive Oil 250 Ml Infused olive oils are always exquisite. Meemâs infused olive oil is a blend of high-quality olive oil with subtle aromas through the addition of pomegranate molasses. I never had this mixture before. I love the flavour of fresh and slightly bitter olive oil. Pomegranates are well known for their health benefits on the skin. Practically speaking, you will get the olive oil pouring separately and preceding the molasses, due to the viscosity of the two elements. By the way, Pomegranate infused balsamic is available too at the store. .Rose Petal Preserve Rose jams are sweet and floral; this item is a reminder of fresh petals for a fragrant taste of English summertime. I never had rose preserve before, but I did enjoy the orange blossom jam, and it was delightfully pleasant. The flavour of the Rose Petal Preserve was fresh & aromatic with smooth texture, however it was slightly too sweet for me. You will feel pleasant upon tasting this jam. .SEE photos.

Had dinner here last night. Service was very friendly and food came out quickly. Food tasted good. Only feedback is that the meat was a bit hard and not juicy like last time.

Bateel in the Avenues has spacious seating and overlooks the restaurant plaza opposite the Cheesecake Factory. You feel above the hustle and bustle of the mall but still right in the middle of everything. The entrance is a lovely gift shop full of dates and gourmet related gifts but it should expose some of the delicious food options available further inside to tempt passerbyâs without having to ask for a menu. There must be thirty or so tables but all are spaciously arranged so no one feels crowded. With half the seating indoors and half on the terrace it is very light and airy wherever you choose. One half of the terrace is more secluded than the other so you can choose if you want to see all the crowds and other restaurants or not.Midday, so brunch was ordered, Eggs Benedict and I had a Bateel Shakshouka of poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce similar to Huevos Rancheros. Both dishes had perfectly poached eggs - the Benedict was on toasted muffins with asparagus and a generous side salad, the Shakshouka was listed with Arabic bread but served with toast. The Shakshouka really needs some crunchy bread or crispy potatoes with it to complement the creamy soft eggs and spicy sauce. You will want to mop up every drop of this breakfast and the toast was used to clean my plate - delicious! Excellent Black coffee was served with dates, a good way to round off my first visit to Cafe Bateel before heading downstairs to the crowds....

When it comes to Lebanese food, there are countless restaurants to choose from, but you will not find a better and more authentic dining experience than Ayam Zaman. Lebanese cuisine is an ancient one - steeped in history - and many of its dishes can be tr
Itâs a pity when one has to endure poor service when the food is terrific; our family lunch today at Ayam Zaman, Crowne Plaza, Farwaniya was one such unfortunate incident. The food was definitely among the best Lebanese cuisine we have had in Kuwait, the starters, the main course, the grills are near perfect. The Arayes & Riyash are mouth melting. Perfect choice for great food. The service was prompt but callous & indifferent. No napkins at the table despite having reserved in advance. The gentleman taking the order seemed to be fidgety, distracted & was not paying any attention. Not sure if this was a one off thing! We would prefer to try the Salmiya outlet next time in the hope of getting the same great food with better service!Dear samiulla_bandarkar, Thank you for your review. I am delighted to know that you enjoyed your time at Ayam Zaman Lebanese Restaurant. It is our aim to provide all our guests with a memorable experience. I look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.Kind regards,Anthony Najm Cluster Food & Beverage Operation Manager
