From steak to seafood, vegetables to burgers, anything that Rufo can throw on his grill he does -- and to much success, too. The outdoor restaurant fits perfectly with the charcoal grill flavors, fresh corn tortillas and hearty homestyle portions that mak
We had dinner here with some friends. The snapper was very good and fresh. My wife had the BBQ ribs and thought they were average. ALL of their food is mesquite grilled and smells great! They have some live music (at least on certain nights) that is very nice. Good guitar players, but not overwhelming.

Mar y Cielo offers delicacies from Mexico's rich culinary heritage and breathtaking views of the bay. Seafood Specialities from Zihuatanejo and the Mediterranean.
Casa Que Canta has been one of our favorite hotels and it's restaurant, Mar y Cielo was always to be enjoyed. During the recent visit the menu was somewhat limited and several menu items were not available. Couldn't order a glass of Chardonnay because it was not available but a bottle was available which really made no sense. The tortilla soup and salad were excellent. The red snapper filet was difficult to find among so much pineapple which overpowered the fish. The lamb was good but not exceptional. All in all really not up to the usual standards of the restaurant or the hotel. The view, of course, and the sunset was spectacular.Dear leightayl0r,I apologize for not having several menú Ãtems during your recent visit. As a frequent client you know we try to do everything for a special dinner. we made the changes to avoid this will happen again. We hope you will come back and experience our authentic Cuisine and service.Respectfully,Ana Maria Frias

A lot of places claim to be for the "locals" but this place actually is where they eat. The name means "crazy potato" in English and that is their speciality. Huge baked potato's filled with buttter, sour cream, cheese and then a variety of meats. Their t
This restaurant is what you might call a hole in the wall. But what a fantastic place. Their main dish is a potato. But what a potato. It is huge an d filled with meat and veggies and I donât know what. But it was fantastic. Dinner for 2 cost $14 Cdn

Have been to Coco Bahia now twice and will continue to come back. Love sitting and having some appetizers and a margarita overlooking the Zihuatanejo bay. The Sashimi al negro, or blackened tuna is delicious! Itâs raw but with a mild crust on the edges. Thereâs no need to dip in the soy sauce because it perfectly seasoned and not spicy at all. Sometimes I order two itâs that good!! The margaritas are strong and not too sweet and the beer is cold and served in a beer koozie!! Nice touch guys. On both occasions Jesus was our waiter and he is as friendly as they come. He does speak English but we enjoy practicing our Spanish with him. He was attentive and the service was prompt. If ours in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo this is a must visit. Most people go to the popular spots along Playa La Ropa or Madera, but this is a little off the beaten path, in a different neighborhood with a different perspective of the bay. Two thumbs up for sure!!!

This restaurant is located on a small cove and can only be reached by water taxi from the pier. There are about 10 restaurants on this isolated cove. They have no actual address, no electricty, no telephone and all food/beverages are brought in by the wat
We enjoyed the facilities there. There was a group of 9 there and the service was excellent. Our only complaint was the seafood platter. Except for the platter, the day could not have been better. We had arranged a water taxi from La Ropa round trip for our group for 500 pesos. The taxi was there exactly at 3 pm as we had asked. The whole day was a fun day because most were returning home 2 days later..

A small, intimate setting above the bay of Zihuatanejo offering an outstanding vista in which you can enjoy our contemporary cuisine while dining with friends and love ones. Our ingredients are the finest quality, always fresh organic and blended into del
We had heard great things about Casa Bahia at our resort so we went there to celebrate my birthday. It was an excellent choice. Perfect view at our table on the upper patio and lovely service. Four out of the six of us had fish and all agreed it was the best we have had on our trip. The young chef, Ricardo?, greeted us afterwards which is a nice touch. We will be back next year.

Hello to all our friends, we inform you that we are ready for one more season! remember our schedule from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm, it will be a pleasure to assist you
Nice atmosphere al fresco and the staff was so friendly and efficient but other than our amplele Mixed Salad at a resonable price we were very disappointed in our meals. My coconut shrimp had a thick, floury coating which obliterated the taste of the shrimp and had little or no coconut flavor. They were square chunks and the mango sauce not at all distinctive or flavorful. Very disappoining. The rice that was served with the shrimp was cold. My fiance had fettucine alfredo with ham and the ham was like deli ham rolled up and served alonside of the pasta. The sauce was only fair. Sadly, we will not return although maybe we made the wrong choices on the menu.

Eat here! Itâs a little further out of town than a lot of the popular restaurants but absolutely worth the extra 5 minute walk. We had the coconut shrimp and chili rellenos at Letyâs suggestion and both were amazing. I agree with everyone that this is the best coconut shrimp ever! We also enjoyed great service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Canât wait to go back! Will be great to see again, thank you so much for your recommendations!!!!

La Terracita has two restaurants. One is located on Adelita's street and the other one is located in front of the beach. For breakfast we offer the same menu, but for dinner each restaurant has their own menu, both are a great option to enjoy a wonderful
We ate breakfast here last Sunday and you could see it was going to be good as it was packed with tourist and a lot of local people. Not the cheapest breakfast but one of the best.We waited for our food which proves how busy they were and that is all freshly cooked and Rosie our server actually came and apologized for the delays she was a credit too her boss who I hope reads this. A really great find.

We are a family business for over 20 years we were located within the Airport Zihuatanejo, the business was called "Snack Bar - El Mirador"; but in 2008 we decided to leave the anonymity and moved to town with a new "Carmelite Cafe" concept. The mission o
You see them making fresh tortillas at the entrance and that tips you off to what's inside. We went two days in a row and tried four different dishes to really get a good feel for their menu. Carmelitta's daughter waited on us and explained all the dishes to us. Great breakfasts.
