We were taken here by business partners who ensured us this was authentic, and very good Mexican food. Food and service was excellent, and not the heavy Mexican food that Americans think of (like refried beans). Atmosphere was interesting, clean and a bit upscale. I would definitely return.

Let start by saying the hostess found us a table on a busy Sunday morning. The service was spot on. The ambiance was vintage Mexican circa 1950’s. The food was authentic and traditional. The green spicy sauce on the chilaquiles can be used in a kajillion ways you can pour over burritos, tacos, eggs—really anything. It was that good. The tamale was a Oaxacan recipe made in a large banana leaf enough for two people. The masa was light and tasty. Our meal was 32 all in including tip. All in all, I suggest to stop by.

I have been to this restaurant many times, and it is surprisingly consistent. Food is always great and service is impecable. It is one of those places where waiters are actually looking at you ready to serve, instead of looking at the ceiling or floor. Flavor is typical of Culiacan, a region on the west coast known for its great seafood.Thank you for your comment. It´s very important to us to know our customer's experience in Los Arcos. We had seen the reviews of this place on trip advisor and expected great things. the place has a nice feel to it, kind of fancy, but still so that you feel welcome. The menu shows diversity and had some interesting options. We went for a beetroot ceviche to share as a starter and I had a serving of confit de canard for main course while my girlfriend chose a serving of grilled shrimps with a cucumber salad. the ceviche was really good and were served in a manner that made it evident that thet cared for the finish. The confit de Canard was good, though it could have needed something more fresh and acid to counter the fatness of the duck. The grilled shrimps had had too much on the grill, and tasted more of grill than of shrimp. Though the food in general were good, it wasn't mind blowing.

To start it becomes an outdoor dinner experience but, indoors. Got to love that they display many of the menu dishes on flat screens including the preparation and ingredients. Great service from server. You ask and they will answer very politely. They will make sure before you start with your gastronomical experience if you are allergic to any items so they can go around it somehow. They want to make sure you don’t forget your experience at their place. Great flavor. Good fresh Salsas placed at tables for enjoyment. Had to order 2 starter dishes as they have great choices. Must try bone Marrow with the gray tortillas. This is the place for great cocktails to be enjoyed in a nice hot summer afternoon. Silverware and dish ware very original. Great selection of wines. Once you experience this place, you will want to comeback.

We stopped by after work for a seafood dinner and the food was fantastic. We ordered mixed plates of ceviche and also cooked seafood. The food was excellent, the service was terrific and the overall experience was awesome!Thank you for your review, for us it is very important to know your experience. Not only a picturesque local restaurant, they also serve very traditional Mexican food with great taste. If you have foreign visitors in town, this is a good option. I recommend “pozole” and for dessert “arroz con leche” “jericalla” and try champurrado!

This is a small chain here in Mexico, the restaurant is large and very well run. The food was great,service prompt and friendly.I had coconut shrimp and my wife had shrimp over avocados both were delicious I would definitely go back here again Thank you very much for your review. This was our first visit to Ofelia Bistro (March 22, 2019). We were quite impressed with the service. The entire staff was attentive, pleasant and orchestrated their visits to our table so that nothing was missing while not being disruptive of our table conversation. It was not that we lucked out with our wait staff. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our experience a very special one. The food was just as outstanding. We had several dishes to try a variety of their cuisine. The seared tuna was cooked just right and was fresh. The octopus and escargots were tasty too, as was the "costilla de res". They have a varied wine selection too. I will definitely go back when I return to Guadalajara.Todo estuvo excelente. As many new and popular restaurants here in Guadalajara, this one is absolutely overrated. It’s not very defined if it is a restaurant or a bar with very loud remixed dj music, the portion are ridiculously small and the price it’s definitely not worth the taste and quality of the food.
