We have been to this location many times over the years. We enjoy a good lunch or dinner at this location. The kids like the different salsas they have to offer. Make sure to get here early during lunch or on the weekends. This location is crazy busy.
Really tasty food housed at a Shell gas station. I had the shredded beef arepa - a meal in a maize based flatbread. Also passion fruit juice. Empanadas for the granddaughters. Authentic South American food according to my son and Bolivian daughter-in-law. Filling and flavorful. Nice outdoor seating under a pergola. Friendly service.

I felt the menu variety and food quality was not up to the level of most good restaurants in the area. Service was very poor....staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than taking care of customers. I would say save your money.

Our family lived around the corner from El Ranchero for over 17 years. Even after moving closer to the heart of downtown Woodstock 3 years ago, we still prefer to drive to El Ranchero whenever we crave consistently good Mexican cuisine. We have enjoyed more lunches and dinners there than I can recall, but we've never had a bad experience. My favorite dishes are the Enchiladas Supremas (one beef, one chicken, one bean, and one cheese enchilada covered with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream) and the Taco Salad with grilled chicken substituted for the regular shredded chicken. The beef and chicken fajitas are also family favorites.

Donât get me wrong, this place is pretty good:The salsa is fresh and the chips are good; Their rice is well seasoned and cooked properly; their portions are pretty generous. However, with a name like âtacos and beerâ I was hoping for a vast menu of creative street tacos. They have 3 tacos on the menu (that I could find). They do have some original creations but if a variety of good tacos are what youâre after you may be a little let down. Their 3 street tacos are 11.00. The prices are a little more than the Mexican places Iâm used to but the service was good. We shared a Mexicali casadilla and we were both full just from our half and the rice and chips and salsa. Didnât ask about a military discount, will try to if we go again. They do have good daily specials if you go during the week. Definitely try it but donât expect tacos galore.

Our part of five ate here last night. The service, portion sizes and drinks were great and the price reasonable, but I found my ground beef (they did not have stewed chunks) chimichanga to be overly Americanised - bland. Both my wife and I (we shared the chimichanga) had very upset stomachs today, despite drinking very little.

First time visit...food was good but then I made the mistake of going to the bathroom. Saw German Cockroaches in womenâs bathroom! This ruined my lunch! Beware! If they are in the bathroom these things are most definitely in the kitchen where your food is being prepared too!!! Never again! Disgusting!!! They have a big problem!!!

Mexican favorites & many flavors of margaritas in a casual space with traditional accents. Since 89 Monterrey has been providing Woodstock Ga with good food, great service and exceptional margaritas.
Saturday evening family dinner ~ excellent hot food with great service! Texas fajitas were enormous, sizzling and fresh. Nachos fajitas and cheese enchiladas were awesome - they have extra cheesy enchilada sauce. Pollo ranchero was fabulous with spinach, mushrooms and onions on top! Yummy ~ will definitely be back!

Franchise location to the Pure Taqueria in Alpharetta, GA (this location is listed on TripAdvisor)
This is our go to place. Great margaritas, especially the Michele. The food is not your standard Mexican fare. The hanger steak is one of my favorites followed closely by the Mussels. The wait staff is fantastic, especially Alley the bartender that is usually there on Friday & Saturday evenings. Tell her Paula & Bob sent you. We love to read reviews like this! Thank you for being loyal Guests of Pure and for loving our Team. We feel so lucky to be your go-to place out of all the restaurants in Woodstock. We can't wait to serve you again soon! Best Regards, Peyton

For the best Southeastern Mexican zest, your first and only stop must be La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant. Since 1994, we have been serving up a Fiesta, with exciting and delicious menu items that are sure to enchant and fascinate our guests. Currently with
La Parrilla is the best Mexican restaurant in Woodstock. Went there on Thanksgiving eve and the restaurant was packed with people. After a 20 minute wait we found a table. Service was fast and for the amount of people eating our food came out in a reasonable time. I had a burrito and enchilada combo and my wife had their shrimp tacos. Both dishes were very good and my wife's tacos were one of the best. This is our new "go to" for local Mexican food.
