At Carlos OâBrien's you will find awesome Mexican food made from high quality, fresh, local ingredients. Our team begins every day bright and early slicing fresh vegetables, turning the best avocados into our famous guacamole, slowly simmering our signatu
We sent to this restaurant because it was across from our hotel. As someone who is a native of Southern California, the Mexican food was just okay. The waiter, however, was FANTASTIC! I think his name was Kevin. If you go there, be sure to sit in his section and tell him that Princess' mother sent you! :-)
Never been to Pollo Loco before. My wife tried a tamale. Meh.I tried A chicken avocado burrito. It was okay. Small portions, prices not so small. I really liked the salsa bar, though. A guacamole sauce is a surprise to see, given the value deficit of everything else. The girl at the counter was nice and efficient. Worth another visit.

My granddaughter would eat there 24/7 if I would allow her to. Interesting menu choices and many people love it for a quik bite to eat.
This was my first time at this location. I ordered the Two Enchilada plate with chicken. It also comes with rice and beans. The enchiladas were pretty good. About 4 stars The rice was above average and the beans were good. The whole meal with a medium drink came to just under $11. The service was below average. The person at the register seemed like she really didn't want to be there. Like it was an imposition to take the order. I have passed by this place many times and they can get really busy. Specially on Friday nights. People go here for the cheap food and ignore the service.
We stopped here after a movie. I tried the special, Asada beef tacos. The plate came with two tacos with rice and bean. The meat was seasoned very well and was very tender. The tacos overall were above average. I wasn't crazy about the rice or beans. Both seemed bland. This place is in a great location. Right next to the theater. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will probably stop in and give a few other menu items a taste.
Since it stays open till 10+Pm my wife and I decided to pay a visit since we heard from word of mouth that while it is above average in price the food is really good, we entered the place which is a large building with glass windows on two sides and was seated by one of the waitstaff. It is basically a hispanic restaurant with a large assortment to choose from. We took our time, talked with the waitstaff and ordered a hot drink(organic tea) and my wife chose water. The place is new, the place is clean with very clean restroom (s) and various sea creatures on the walls. The bar is to the right when entering and two customers were sitting on the bar stools. The waitress came and we gave our order. We ordered a combination dish that included, Shrimp. chicken, carne in a large bowl that also contained oysters, polvo and a side dish of rice and refried beans and tortillas. It was also mixed with hot chiles and it took me awhile to get use to the heat(and knowing when to move the chiles to the side of my plate. My wife, being Mexican loves hot dishes (chile) so that was no problem for her. When it was time to leave the check was presented and the whole cost was 41 dollars, which included the tip. There was 6 or 7 tables filled with regulars and it was not noisy, at all. It is a place we will return to and choosing other dishes to see how they fare. The food was delicious and we hope to go again, soon. The entire staff was friendly and totally professional in everything they did.

Where to eat Pub food in Tolleson: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This is an outstanding little place. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I had the Chicken Chimichanga combo that came with rice and beans. The Chimichanga was very good. The rice was average and the beans were some of the best that I have tasted. The staff here was very friendly and professional. The combo also came with chips and the price was about $11.50 with a large drink. I will definitely come here again.

We stopped for a late lunch and were pleased that the food was excellent. The primary focus of the establishment does appear to be the bar crowd but midday the bar scene was nonexistent. The outside appearance is not reflected in the interior design, which is pretty dark and uninspired.

Hit and miss with selections. Shrimp on any dish is rubbery and overcooked to a fault. Chlie rellenos are a better choice. Rice and beans are very good side dishes. Enchiladas are hit and miss. In spite of this we go here at least once a month. Always an adventure
