We are new to the area, native Arizonans with Mexican decent and looking for decent mexican fare. Saw 4 stars in Yelp and decided to try. That was a huge mistake. The enchila had a sauce of some sort that barely tasted of tomatoes. The stuffed poblano had something like ketchup on it. Runny refried beans and tasteless rice. Not a roasted red chilli sauce anywhere. The chips may have been okay, but the meal will be our last in this place for sure.

Ate hear twice while on vacation. Breakfast was good, they should offer breakfast syrup and ketchup with breakfast menu items.
Walk in to the Micasa Mexican restaurant and you're immediately welcomed by the friendly and very efficient wait staff. The restaurant is very clean and did not, in the two times we visited, contain the often seen salsa droppings on the menu as seen at chain Mexican restaurants. The food was very good. The margarita I had was very good and NOT watered down. Service was excellent and pricing reasonable. We'll definitely return.

Typical Taco Bell, food tasted as it does at the other ones I have eaten through out the country, the staff where nice, the place looked clean also. But it did have an odd smell as I walked in the front door, never did figure out what it was, not bad, not good, just odd..Oh well

Since my last review, this restaurant has much improved in food quality and service. This time around, the food was served hot, well prepared and quality was good. No negative comments from anyone of us. Restaurant was clean and well staffed. Staff was friendly and willing to serve as needed. Good service, good food this time.

Stopped in after a long day of shopping. It wasn't too crowded but it was super noisy! We sat as far away from the bar as possible. I ordered the Taco Salad w/beef and spicy ranch. The salad it's self was very good, but I couldn't eat the shell. It was somewhat stale. The service was very good.

Being brutally honest, to me this place looked really dilapidated and in a bad state of repair looking at the physical premises. Nothing was bright or new--everything looked old and worn and paint was chipped off numerous places and it looked physically like a dump really. Service was the only high point as the servers were enthusiastic and pretty quick and fairly attentive to refills, etc. The food was atrocious though. We had a 1/2 order of some type of nachos and they were among the worst I've had anywhere in a long time. Only thing saving this place from 1 star is that the chips and salsa were good and I was able to eat enough of those to make up for the inedible nachos. Given the surrounding neighborhood, it is understandable why this place is in a bad state of repair. Too bad to see a place and neighborhood in such decline. Haven't been to the Margaritas on Southwest Blvd. in KCMO in a years, but this place in Belleville is a but a shadow of what Margaritas in KC was. One other negative--for non-drinkers who want to enjoy a beer without the buzz, they don't have O'Douls or St. Pauli Girl N.A. or anything. You're totally out of luck. Prices were average but considering the quality, value is still poor.

We have been here a couple of times and find it to be the best Mexican food in the area. The food is fresh, tasty, and served by a great staff. The menus options are better than most with some items that were unique specialties not common to other restaurants. We have tried many others in the local area, but think we have found the best in Maria's.

Cholula's is a great little family-owned diamond in the rough. The building is a former fast food restaurant, so it's not at all pretentious, but the food is great. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very attentive and friendly. I haven't seen very many Mexican restaurants that offer a buffet, so that is an added treat. I've had the buffet and also have ordered off the menu. Both were delicious.

There are several items on the menu served on a sizzling platter. What they really mean is a 400 degree plate that burns the food as it is delivered. I had the carnitas and not only was the plate way too hot & burned the meat the veggies that went on the plate raw were burnt.
