Things to do in Sachse
It was pretty empty at lunch which should have tipped me off. The prices were higher than most restaurants in the area. Ordered the lunch enchilada, yes itâs just one for lunch price. The chicken enchilada came with a red sauce that was pretty overpowering. The same spice in the sauce was used on the rice. Not quite the texmex meal Iâm used to. Probably wonât be back.

Where to start. We visit the Sachse area twice a year to see our family. A number of years ago we were introduced to Christina's(at another location) by our daughter and ever since then we usually eat there at least twice during our visit.. This last visit we decided to stop by the Murphy location (first time). Even though it was a little after 1:00there was no one at the front to seat us. Finally we were shown to our table. The first thing I noticed was new menus which is always a bad sign because it usually means new pricing. My wife and I split the quesa , portions seemed smaller and the guacamole was one piece of avocado. The food was good but a little disappointed in the service and the presentation. Will we go back, yes but probably not to this location

A group of us had dinner here and all of us enjoyed our meals. I had the Brisket Tacos which were excellent. The service was great and Luis, the bartender, was outstanding.

We planned to meet friends at this restaurant, but arrived early to have a drink at the bar. It's a good thing we did because by 7:00 there was no way we would have gotten a table for party of 6. The hostess was very sweet and save a table for us. Don't recommend the margaritas (they were very sweet), but the food is delicious! They brought basket of perfect chips and flavorful but not too spicy salsa. We ordered guacamole and pepper poppers for the table to share - excellent! My bowl of shrimp tortilla soup was too large to finish and the shrimp were not the usual tiny ones but large, succulent pieces. The street and city tacos were excellent (maybe the best at the table) and the plato platter had a nice assortment (the pork tamales were out of this world). The only disappointment were the chili rellenos. Our friends have been here for breakfast and they say its the best - can't wait to try it.
We like to have lunch at Chipotle. The service is good. The food is good. The price is right. I like a rice bowl with steak. My wife likes pork. My sons like burritos. I usually look for Chipotle when we are on trips.

It was not the most amazing food I have ever eaten, but it was pretty good. I enjoyed the salsa, and the queso and Guac were pretty good too. We had a huge group (22), and the staff did an excellent job. They were extremely accommodating. They did an excellent job getting all the food out near the same time.
You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The prices are very good also. Two people can eat their full for 10-15 bucks. If you served this food in a sit down Mexican restaurant, nobody would know the difference. It's delicious.

At Gloriaâs, itâs always been about fresh ingredients, creative recipes and a commitment to our customers. The food at Gloriaâs was conceived by Gloria and Jose Fuentes and born out of the traditions of El Salvador. Inspired Tex-Mex additions have provide
The far south has many recipes not usually cooked in a Tex-Mex restaurant. Gloria's personified the more southerly cuisine if a very pleasant venue. I sought after several of their offerings that I had not seen in local Latin cafes and was quite pleased that I did. Even the offerings of warm black bean dip and salsa with chips that were not only complimentary but very tasty as well. I will going back regularly in the future.

This is a really good family restaurant. It has everything you would be looking for. A casual atmosphere, fun decorations, a great wait-staff, very good food, big portions and very reasonable prices. I had assumed that the menu would be all Mexican food but they had a nice selection of other items. Their chips and salsa were awesome. As I am from Arizona and have ready access to good Mexican food all the time I decided to go with the chicken fried steak. OMG it was HUGE! Looking around at other tables I could see that portion sizes of all the dinners were very big. You are not going to leave this place hungry. Their prices are very reasonable, even more so when you take into account the amount of food you get. I would most definitely eat here again

Website does not list Sachse location, but it is the same place.
This is the type of place I love. Great food and great prices! The real deal. So many reviews you read rave about the food, etc. The food here is truly legitimate! The service is great and they actually act like they appreciate your business.
