At home in Florida I prefer Moe's or Tijuana Flats. I also like Chipotle. I've been to Qdoba a few times, and while the food is pretty good, it is usually too crowded and not quite as good as the others. However, I recognize that there are many Qdoba fans, and it is a good place to stop for a quick mean on the road. We needed a fast vegetarian meal, so this was a good choice. I liked my burrito, but it was crowded and the place was messy. And why do they feel the need to charge for chips and salsa???

We have been to every Mexican restaurant in the area. This one by far has the most food choices. The service was good, the food was excellent, the amount served was amazing. They did a decent job of remodeling, but the atmosphere fell just a little short. All in all I would say the food is well worth going for. We will be back.

Service 5 starsAtmosphere 5 starsFood 3 1/2 starsChips and salsa ok, my husband and I split the steak fajitas which were good but not over the top delicious. The flavor was great and nothing to complain about. Can't remember our servers name but she was very friendly and accommodating. We sat on the rooftop which was really neat and the decor and lighting was nice. Seems like this place is a hit or miss based on reviews so were glad we had a good meal.

Went here for dinner tonight. This is a small, family-owned Mexican restaurant featuring Michoacan recipes. For a small restaurant, there is an extensive menu with several unique items. I had the shredded chicken in mole sauce, and was wowed by its flavor and quality. Even the refried beans and Spanish rice were excellent. Our waiter George was friendly and professional, speaking both Spanish and English easily. Definitely the place for special Mexican food in Rapid City.

I have been to many of the On the Border Mexican Restaurants and this one did not disappoint. The chips and salsa were good. I like Hot salsa so they made some for me and it was hot and good. The Enchiladas and Fajitas were excellent. The drinks were above average. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was festive and fun. This was a surprise for me in Rapid City, South Dakota. The staff was professional and happy to be around.

We stopped into this little gem on a recent vacation after reading several glowing reviews. The place is amazing! I've tried countless Mexican restaurants throughout the states and I can honestly say this is easily the best. I will be back every time I travel to the Rapid City area.

OMG- Stopped by to try this when he was set up at Sturgis Rally. These little white soft shells are amazing,. We think the shredded beef and chicken are the best with fresh graded cheese! We havent tried his burritos yet but this will be a mexican fill up place when we are in rapid for errands! Its not a sit down inside restaurant but a catering type van. Had to stop in again before we left town to grab 6 more of these little tacos!
