As you enter you think that you are going to a small amusement park as the decor is very colorful. When you enter and there was no waiting at all, you are immediately greeted and seated. My friends have been here a few times and they were raving about this joint as a great happy spot with the best Mexican food around. We ordered and within minutes our delicious plates arrive. I had the combo fajitas of shrimp, chicken and steak. Along with that came a huge plate of rice and beans and another overflowing plate of guacamole sour cream and salad. My friend ordered a huge burrito and a platter of soft shell tacos. No one was disappointed. The food was not only palatable to the eye but when it rolled on your tongue and into you esophagus it made passionate food love with your senses. Definitely returning on my next trip. So hurry there as soon as you can. You wonât be dissappo

Don't eat fast food too often but every now and then I like the taco salad....staff is friendly in the drive food and order is correct. This location is in the parking lot of a strip mall area next to a Religious building that is only crowded on Sundays. You will see workman in their vehicles eating lunch as it is right off 1825 just down from the High School.

For fast food and friendly service, this Taco Bell is great. Everything is made to order, like most Taco Bells, as a bonus, the crew all speak nothing but English when they are up front and are usually smiling, which means so much to us. The Mexican Pizza's are SO good, but over-priced. Any of their burrito's with Dorito's in them are crunchy and very tasty. You can usually find coupons somewhere that doubles their value. Great stuff for the price.

Little hole in the wall place (typically fantastic) that advertises homemade tortillas. The place was very clean & the wait staff very attentive and nice. My meal was not bad, but the rice looked & tasted like rice-a-roni & the beans were so watered down they were runny. And although HEB has the best store-bought tortillas, I was looking forward to homemade and these were most definitely not. They looked & tasted like HEB tortillas. I was disappointed but wouldn't rule out completely coming to try it again sometime.

I live around the corner from El Taquito but I would travel to eat their chorizo and egg and my absolute favorite steak fajita tacos. Their red sauce and green Chile salsa is the best in central Texas . The girl that works the counter and register is the friendliest food service worker I have ever met. It doesn't matter how slammed they are she always is friendly with a great attitude.

Hot sauces have very good flavor. The green sauce is spicy (by the end of the meal my lips had a slight burning sensation to them - it was awesome). Chips more of a baked then fried texture but were good. Ice Tea was fresh. Beans were homemade and were ok; they were great once I mixed some of the hot sauce into them. The rice was nothing special. Chicken enchiladas were good with a great tangy tomatillo flavor. They had an interesting presentation with lettuce and tomato on top of the enchiladas, sauce and cheese. Will definitely be back.

The Baja ShrimpTacos are my favorite at Torchyâs. They have a drive in window and have never made any mistakes on my orders. Everything is fresh every time I have gone to them for Tacos. If you have not gone to Torchyâs you should go, you will not be disappointed.

Our favorite Mexican place in. North Austin area, itâs menu includes interior-real style Mexican dishes like Pozole, and Tex Mex like Enchilada plates and Taco combos. Great soups and salads, amazing tortillas and chips, and my favorite salsa anywhere around. Itâs always good. Try the Mushroom Enchiladas...creamy and delicious...and the fajitas are amazing.

The food was good, but the selection was limited for vegetarians. Many of the wait staff did not understand no meat, no lard, etc.. Once I explained to the owner, we had food that was properly prepared and ok.It has been my experience before with restaurants who serve normally to the locals most of the time and mostly to meat eaters.

.......the service was horrendous. We waited 20 minutes for somone to come take our drink order and acknowledge our presence. Finally a manager came by explaining they were busy. REALLY!? It's Cinco de Mayo and you are seriously understaffed and that was a mangement problem! Keeping in mind I was a restaurant manager 23 years 13 of those in a mexican restaurant, Cinco de Mayo doesn't sneak up on you is the same date every year and ya gotta be ready. Once we got a server we did a little better and the most annoying person on the staff was assigned to help so although better it was annoying...... The food although was delicious and served very hot as mexican food should be. I will go back just not on Cinco or another big eating out day like mother's day Management here more interested in their employees happiness( lack of adequate staff, (After 23 years I know the server mindset)), instead of satisfying customer needs. Not a great visit.
