Very tasty barbeque/grilled chicken. They also serve this delicious chicken in burritos and salads. A little expensive.
Arrived on Saturday around 4pm. Pretty calm, not busy. Got parking right away in front of the restaurant, but if it were to get busy it would be a bit tight. Didn't know what to expect, but the restaurant was recommended by my cousin who is obsessed with seafood. He comes here from Perris, CA to eat Marlin.I should have tried the Marlin, but I just went with the Camarones a la Veracruzana. Shrimp with a red sauce and sautéed veggies, fried beans with cheese, orange rice, and a basic salad with a slice of orange. I got orange and carrot juice, even though I wanted a cold beer (training for a 50k race).Overall, the food was good, but not great. I would have preferred the shrimp a little softer, but they had a great taste. Very fresh. Beans, rice, and salad were very average, but good. The best part was by far the service. Given it was not busy and we were not in a hurry. We got the usual chips, salsa, and limes before out order was taken. There's a few TVs and a jukebox to play music.Very casual family restaurant. I'll be back if I'm in the area for some Marlin. (And the flan!)
A group went here for a birthday dinner. La Diosa had recently opened and we were anxious to try it. The owner, Rocio, is not new to the restaurant business. She has a restaurant in Bell Gardens bearing her name. She is a veteran of the industry. The first impression blew us away. A very spacious dining room that has a couple section. It is decorated in vibrant colors. But it is all about the food. Chips arrived, they have three different moles on them which were identified. The menu is very interesting. I had a shrimp dish with a mango and tamarind mole. My husband had one of the cazuelas. There was a sampling of the elote (corn) soup. One friend had the chili relleno which looked spectacular. He didn't care for it because it wasn't battered and fried. This relleno was a freshly roasted poblano stuffed with cheese and sauced with a dark mole. It was beautiful and tasted wonderful. We enjoyed the guacamole and the queso fundido as well. I will definitely come back. The prices are extremely reasonable with entrees at about $20 or less. We brought our own wine which put them in a panic because they didn't have wineglasses. Who cares? I had the most refreshing cucumber/lime fresca. Wonderful. There is a reason that Rocio is called La Diosa de Los Moles. Go find out.

We have eaten here many times and the service is usually great. My loves the large salad and I like the smothered burrito.
This place has a new name: TACOS EL FOGON or TACOS AL VAPOR. EXCELLENT!!!Everything is awesome. Cheap. Loved the tacos.
We absolutely love coming to this restaurant every time we are in town delivering freight. The food is wonderful, the drinks are exceptional and the atmosphere is out of this world. The staff is very friendly and there is Spanish karaoke. Will keep coming back!
We ate here in September. The food here seems authentically prepared. Very small seating area and no real organization of placing patrons into seats. Despite that, the food was very good. Small family run place in the middle of Paramount. Delicious.

By the looks at this place driving by, however, since I ate at the one in Lynwood I figured I would give it a try. After walking in the door, we literally stood at the front for about a good 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged. After that the girl behind the counter asked did we needed to be seated and she grab two menus and sat them on a table and said "enyoy" (I guess meaning "enjoy") and walked away.I must say the shrimp tacos were delicious!!!! The wait time for the food wasn't all that bad, but the level of service there was HORRIBLE!!!! After we ate we literally waited about 10 minutes to our check, obviously finished with our food with empty plates sitting in front of us the waitress continued to pass the table, refilling hot sauce bottles, etc. So after waiting so long for our bill I had to flag her down. And AGAIN we were waiting at the counter just to pay for our food. A guy stood by the counter just looking around...at this point I was done with the waiting game so I left my money on the counter and walked out...then is when we picked up the money and put it in the register. The food was good but I gave them 3 stars for the level of service. Don't know if I'll return, and if I do it'll be TO GO!!!!

If you're looking for a Family-friendly Mexican restaurant, then stop by Casa Gamino in the City of Paramount. Our Mexican food is prepared fresh daily and perfect for family-style portions if you're really feeling hungry! Come in and enjoy our quesadilla
One of my favorite Mexican Food spots. Favorites include, Mole, burritos and fajitas. Large portions compared to large chain stores. The fajitas is plenty for two people. The albondigas soup is very tasty, though can be on salty side at times. Rarely a wait, fast service. We have celebrated birthday parties here with good results.

I don't know why I didn't think to review Enrique's sooner. I've been going here for years, and it is one of my top two local Mexican restaurants. Although some reviewers like the other Long Beach location on PCH, the Enrique's off the 91 freeway is my number one choice. I like it because the booths have very high backs, so it feels private. The food is always hot, fresh, delicious, and consistently authentic. The servers are friendly. When you first sit down, you will be served the best chips and salsa - and everyone gets their own little bowl of salsa! No worries about double dipping. I highly recommend the posole. It comes with all of the toppings, and it is perfect anytime but especially a cool or rainy day. Other favorites include the mushroom quesadilla, which defies description, and the potato taquito - too delicious! I also love the ensalada revuelta, which is crisp and fresh with cucumbers, red peppers, and a tasty pepita dressing. Finally, leave room for dessert. The plantains with caramel and ice cream is over the top. And, they have amazing cheesecake and flan as well. Clean restrooms. Wheelchair accessible. Good for large parties. Kid friendly.
