Something for everyone here. Not quite Tex-Mex, but with a twist. Chicken Avocado enchiladas ring my wife's bell, shrimp quesadillas another family member, steak quesadillas for another. Me, I like to try all sorts of stuff. They are part of a small chain, all locations good. The menu gets tweaked periodically. At the moment they don't do my formerly favorite recipe for tamales, but I cope.

Third time here...and third time satisfied! Service was excellent; the server was patient with our party that straggles in over 20 minutes, and accommodating with several special requests. The chips were warm every basketful. The cream cheese chicken enchiladas are amazing! We will return again and again.

I had never been to this restaurant before. I stopped in for take-out to bring to a friend's house. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and the service was quick.
First time here. What great food and services for a little privately owned eatery...definitely recommend this place if your in the area and want some great Mexican food...will be back
Service this time was better than last time. Server was attentive and friendly, food came out hot and tasty, fairly quickly. Greeting at door to be seated a bit spotty. Be aware that some of the servers' presentation is a bit on the strange side, and service is a bit inconsistent, depending on your server.

First time visit based on a Mission local recommendation. Was concerned with some recent reviews, but we were very pleased with our meals.Quality food at a very reasonable price. Excellent cheese enchiladas and tacos. Menu is very large and lots of options. Another highlight is the chips and salsa. They have mild, medium, and hot salsa. We got mild and medium salsa. Both were good, but we really like the medium. Not too hot and the consistency was excellent (not too thin, yet not real chunky)

After seeing the great reviews for this restaurant, hubby and I were excited to try it. We didn't really know what to expect for El Salvador cuisine. Our first impression was that the place was dirty. The floors hadn't been cleaned in ages. We could tell it was a family-run restaurant (which we love!) but that's where the positive aspects of our dinner ended. On the up-side: the menu was pretty large, including a selection of items available for breakfast. There were pictures of each dish which was also helpful because I truly couldn't understand what the dishes were. My husband got the breaded pan fried chicken which he said was really good. It came with creamed beans, a salad and rice for $10. I got some sort of shredded beef that had green peppers and onions mixed in plus a small salad, creamed beans and rice. Mine was also $10. There was also a smaller selection of Mexican food but we wanted to try food from El Salvador since we had never had it before. Service was good. Portion sizes were good and filled a large platter. On the down-side: As I mentioned, the place had a "dirty" feel to it. There were several tvs on and they were tuned to some sort of Spanish-speaking soap opera. That was distracting. The food itself didn't have much flavor (maybe that's the way food from El Salvador tastes???) and my husband couldn't tell what part of the chicken he got.The food was okay, service was good, but we probably won't go back. We'll look for other restaurants to explore.

Loved the burrito smothered in cheese. Salsa was incredible too. Unlinited chips and salsa. Great specials on beer and margaritas.
Anitaâs is a cute little eatery next to the Farmerâs Market in Merriam, KS. I stopped here for breakfast during a weekday and was delighted at the breakfast burrito I got. Anita says all food is prepared fresh, and indeed I could taste the difference. Serving size was more than sufficient and the price was very reasonable. The dining room is very attractive and welcomingly decorated. I plan to certainly visit the place more often and check out the other appetizing items on the menu, especially the Papusas. This is a place sure checking out, though it is pretty small.

A friend and I had dinner at Dos Reales. It's conveniently located but hard to see form the road; it's in a shopping center with a Family Dollar Store at the corner of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Quivera. My friend is pretty fluent in Spanish and enjoyed chatting with the waitress; there were other patrons also speaking Spanish. A good sign for me when an ethnic restaurant has many members of that ethnic group eating there!Service was good and food was served pro, ptly when it was ready, still hot from the kitchen. There was a wide menu selection; I had the vegetarian fajitas and my friend had two enchiladas and a taco. The green sauce on the table was especially tasty! Dinner for the two of us, including two beers each and the tip, was under $50.
