Craving Mexican food, here is the place to go. We shared the nachos and had plenty. Would love to come back (I am sure we will) and try another margarita. Definitely going to trying something else. Some of the best nachos I have ever had. Fast and friendly service.

a small corner place inside a large space called the Mill, Cereal Killer has some really different types of offerings, though since its menu is on a chalkboard, they may change some. I had the Breakfast ramen, which had a delicious flavorful broth and long tender noodles, along with a sriracha maple bacon and a "golden egg" which was boiled , cut in half and had a soft but not runny center.. My wife had Bulls-eye French Toast, which comes with crispy fried chicken, a spicy jalapeno jam, and maple syrup. Also Delicious

This was very good to me. The atmosphere is so friendly and it's so clean. The think I loved was this African American employee singing, in a rather good voice...WELCOME TO MOES, WELCOME TO MOES, it was so cute. The food was good, and fast. The only criticism I had was that they gave me the wrong order, and I didn't pay attention to what they were putting on my burrito. I picked out the meat that was wrong and had pretty much a vegetarian burrito, but that's ok. I will better attention next time. I would go back, hopefully the melodic greeter will still be there.

Poor Mexican

Reviewed By Posh1609

This is the third time I've visited the Poor Mexican with my daughter, son-in-law, and three teenage grandkids. The chips and salsa are typical, as is the cheese sauce, which the family habitually orders in Mexican restaurants. The Mexican beer and nonalcoholic drinks were as expected. All servings were as much as or more than we could eat. I ordered the puerco verde. The flavor of the sauce was past excellent, but the small pieces of ham were tough. Had they been larger, I doubt I could have chewed them finely enough to swallow. Everyone else was very pleased with their dishes, including the hamburger, which my grandson said was great; but he barely touched his french fried, which he said were weird. I tasted one and thought it was especially good, so maybe more attuned to adult tastebuds than kids'. Service was prompt, efficient, professional, and courteous, as it always is at the Poor Mexican. Dinner for 6 with beers, extra appetizers, but no desserts (no one had saved room) came to $99 and pennies. The waiter earned the 20 percent I left him. I'm not sure l've ever eaten at a Tex-Mex restaurant I'd rate 5 star, but the Poor Mexican meets all reasonable expectations, and I'm sure it will be on the agenda my next visit when we take the grandkids out to dinner in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Don Carlos Mexican Restaurant

Reviewed By crownct938

Friends of ours picked us up from the Pensacola airport and on our way to their home we decided to stop for dinner at Don Carlos. We were seated on an outside patio which was nice since it was a pleasant evening. We ordered Margaritas and even the medium size was very large. Our dinners were a chicken quesadillas which were good, chicken enchiladas supreme which my husband said were very good, and I had the grilled shrimp and onions with garlic sauce. It was very good. The food was good but nothing exceptional and our waitress although pleasant was not attentive although the restaurant was not very busy. When we were finished and wanted to pay the bill I had to find another waitress to find ours. We would think twice about returning.

The "Ninja" slider was one of the best sandwiches that I've tried in a very, very long time. The ingredients just work together so well. The pork belly is cooked perfectly. The Cisco Kid and the "Who You Calling Chicken" slider were both very good as well. This just might be worth the drive from Pensacola to get every so often. I highly recommend.

The California burrito is very tasty. Gilled salad very good. Kids chicken tenders made from actual identifiable chicken. Worth the stop if your in the area.

We stopped in here after completing a business trip. Unlike many Mexican restaurants, this one offered breakfast. I had the eggs and Chorizo breakfast. It was served with retried beans and rice as well as five corn tortillas (you can get flour also). It was very good and only ) $6.50. There was so much food I could not even finish. We also were served delicious chips and salsa. If your looking for great food at a great price, this is the place to go.
