Rubios on Portola Avenue has just opened, and I'm a fan! Went to the soft opening last night which was a fundraiser for the LVEF Foundation, (Thanks Rubios!). Had the shrimp tacos, wonderful! Daughters had the chicken orange salad, ("best" salad she ever ate), and other had the shrimp burrito, delicious! Staff was nice, facility is lovely, great outdoor seating! Had life music, that would be a wonderful Friday and Saturday night addition. I think they are going to do WELL, I know the other franchises in San Jose and Tracy are very popular!

Met a friend at this restaurant today at noon. The special value lunch menu was perfect. It offered a small but substantial number of lunch items from the regular menu as smaller portions and a reduced price point. The food was tastefully prepared and served with a smile. The staff was friendly and attentive. If your looking for a a place for lunch that offers a value menu at lunch with portions that are just right this is an excellent option. Enjoy!

Good food, good sized plates, but overpriced. Mariachi Band was playing as we entered, but soon stopped. Video menu annoying to read, but finally figured out what we wanted. Came quickly, very good, but $13.99 for one person is too much, especially in a strip mall and with the decor they have.

Went here for lunch during the week, this place is fast/casual, not fine dining. You order at the register and then they brought my tacos to me out on the outside patio. There is not much room to sit down inside but the patio was lovely and I enjoyed all of their various salsas on my tacos. I will definitely go back next time I am in the area.

Probably the best Mexican food Iâve ever had! Super clean place with friendly service. Very reasonably priced with lots of options. And they have very generous portions. We got ours to go. And the service was fast and accurate.

Pescato Frito here is fabulous. We really enjoy the family vibe you get here. Good combo plates and fajitas.

Had dinner there the other night. The good was the margaritas, the service and the homemade tortillas. We glanced at the happy hour menu and that appears to be a good deal, which we will have to try.The authenticity of the food is debatable. The food was filling. It was not what I would call authentic, especially the mole plate. The mole served was more of a tomato-based sauce as opposed to a traditional dark, rich sauce. The quality of the food was good but my bias is the flavors and spices which I would not call traditional Mexican flair. You can decide.Buen Suerte

Came here to celebrate my husband's, daughter's, and grandson's birthdays. The salsa for the chips was VERY hot. We asked for a less spicy one and it was fine. We all ordered different items...all were good. Very large servings, even for the children's platters. They gathered all of the wait staff around the table, placed sombreros on the birthday people, and sang Happy Birthday! Quite festive. There was also a BD dessert. We had a large booth and were not bothered by any noise, Cute decor.

A friend told me that I must try Posada. WOW! Not your everyday Mexican Restaurant. We were there for lunch and ordered Sangritas, Texas Dust Halibut Fish Tacos + French Fries, Cheese Stone Ground White Grits + Shrimp, Chimichanga Cheesecake, and Churros with Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce. Sangritas is a delicious margarita style twist on the traditional sangria. I could easily drink two or three but I would need to call a ride-share to get home. I tend to shy away from fish tacos because I have rarely found good ones. Texas Dust Halibut Fish Tacos are very very good. The fish was perfectly prepared. Tropical salsa made these fish tacos a mouthwatering delight. French Fries Pass the good test; they are still good when cold. Cheese Stone Ground White Grits + Shrimp is not your Carolina-style Shrimp & Grits. The broth makes every mouthful of grits a taste of heaven. Then there was dessert! The churros themselves are about the best I have eaten. What makes them special is the custard filling and the rich thick Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce. You must try the Chimichanga Cheesecake. Next step is the gather a few friends and return to Posada for dinner.
