Through several visits, every selection has been very good authentic Mexican. The food like the restaurant facility itself is simple and unpretentious. Excellent salsa, great crispy beef tacos, delicious enchiladas, even the lowly refried beans were creamy and perfect. Beer and wine is not available, but the food is so good I'll forgo the adult beverage to eat like I'm actually south of the border.

Ordered at the counter and waitress was helpful with descriptions of two of the dishes we were interested in. Very good beef tacos and flavorful fried potatoes. The Borracho beans were awesome! Salsa on mild side but hot sauces at the table to heat it up. Quick service at 2 pm in afternoon and only $21 for two drinks and two taco plates with chips and salsa.

We visit this Del Rio often. We have tried many of the menu offerings, but I absolutely love the frozen margarita swirl...Dan is the best bartender! I have special requests of how I would like my food and they are always very kind and eager to please. The staff is very friendly. If you go during typical meal times, you will have a wait, but if you stagger off these times a bit, you rarely have to wait. Absolutely recommend!

Los Lunas Mexican Restaurant Provides Mexican Food to the Joplin and Columbus Area.
Pretty straight forward Midwest Mexican Restaurant with one exception, several large lunch specials of a full meal for $5.50. We're talking a couple of selected entrees, beans, rice etc.

My wife and I tried the enchiladas and carne esada tacos. They were really good. The chicken enchiladas had real chunks of chicken not the typical shredded chicken from a can. The carne esada had great flavor. Portions were generous and the cost was very budget friendly. We will definitely be back.

We'd heard about this restaurant and finally had a chance to try it. We were not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The food was better than most Mexican restaurants, in my opinion. It was very fresh and perfectly spiced. The prices are good too, and we will be back again. We appreciate yor review. Thanks

This restaurant always has speedy, excellent, friendly service and their Chicken Taquitos and guacamole are really, really good!! There are four Taquitos in the regular menu Taquitos with guacamole and sour cream for $7.95! (I got all guacamole!)The lunch Taquitos have two Taquitos with rice and beans for $6.95. I donât eat red meat and the beans have lard in them so I got the regular menu item and had one Taquito to take home!My friend likes the lunch special Tostaguac tostada that comes with rice and beans for $4.95!The decor is cute and the restaurant is always busy with happy customers!Definitely worth a trip!
