Open from 6am to 2pm weekdays (2:30pm on weekends) The Egg & I offers gourmet coffee, 100% pure-squeezed orange juice and a variety of menu choices you will enjoy time and time again. Favorites include our benedicts, omelettes, waffles and whole wheat pan
The omelette tasted like a cast iron skillet and was dry as a popcorn fart, the potatoes and onions were burnt and black on my plate! the only good thing was the whole wheat toast. The coffee was good but that's not too hard to do. But seriously, this food has gone WAY downhill since the last time I ate here, about a year ago. NOT worth the money, even with half off after I complained. Could NOT recommend this place for breakfast.Thank you for your recent visit and for this feedback, Connie. We're very sorry that you did not enjoy your meal during your visit with us. We take our service and food very seriously and it is upsetting to know this is how your visit went. Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns - we will address them immediately. We do hope you give us another try in the future.

I went here today for brunch and I got a shredded beef breakfast burrito and the food was very tasty but I do think that they were greatly understaffed today so I felt bad for our waiter. The chips and salsa were very fresh and you can tell they were baked that morning. You can make a reservation via OpenTable so it's very easy. They have a huge bar area that's open seating so if you don't have a reservation, you. should be able to find a spot there. They also have a bottomless mimosa too!
As a San Diego native who has spent years in Mexico, my wife called eating here "an emotional experience." She also called it "bomb," "incredible," and a handful of other superlatives she does not bestow lightly. She had a Torta Suiza, by the way.I had never tried a torta before this but I am now officially a fan. For the uninitiated, a torta is a sort of Mexican sandwich. It's quite different than an Italian sub or traditional American sandwich, burger, etc. I was very impressed by the quality of the bread and the way the bread, meat, Mexican cheese, and toppings complimented each other. I got the Torta Nortena. Between these two, the Torta Suiza was probably our favorite but both were excellent. We also got an order of fries and an horchata. The fries had an extraordinary texture and freshness to them. They still tasted great even after they had cooled. The horchata was easily the best we've had in Colorado, and every bit as good as the horchata we're accustomed to getting in San Diego. This food is a great value, it's ready fairly quickly, and the restaurant is very clean. We were quite impressed and will be back soon!!

This morning I was so set on a breakfast sandwich so I drive to the establishment, park, and walk in. Except that I wasn't paying attention at all to where I was walking into and accidentally walked into Little Anita's. Well, it was busy and I didn't want to look foolish so I decide that "Hey, I'm here already. Let's give it a shot." I am so glad that I did!!I ordered their supreme breakfast burrito because I couldn't decide which type of meat to add to my burrito and this came smothered! I ordered it with green and red chile after being informed that the red chile was hotter. While I love spice, I am always weary that if I get a spicy chile at a place I have never been to, I will end up with my mouth on fire. Plus, I love green chile so life is good with a little bit of one and a little bit of another.I got my order to go and it came out quickly. I am so glad I made this "mistake" this morning because it is so delicious and the portion size is great for when you're hungry. To add salt to my wound...as I'm leaving, I notice that on the door clearly it says "Little Anita's." I really wasn't paying attention this morning.

Here at Adelitas Cocina y Cantina, you will experience traditional Mexican food from the state of Michoacán in Denver! located off of South Broadway and East Louisiana Avenue. We are known for our taco Tuesdays, homemade margaritas and authentic Michoacán
In Denver? Need sustenance? Want amazing Mexican food? Get in the car and drive to @adelitasdenver right now! We started with the chips & salsa flight which includes a house red, tomatillo and avocado crema. Personally, I liked combining the tomatillo and avocado crema... SO GOOD! The Verdita Margarita includes jalapeno and cilantro and has enough of a kick without being overpowering. For entrees, we enjoyed the Pollo Con Crema and the Enchiladas Con Espinacas o Queso. Both were covered with their chipotle mushroom cream sauce, which I would have bought by the gallon. By the buckets. What surprised me was how delicious the rice and beans were! I would have scarfed the entire platter into my gullet if we weren't going next door to have some wild ales after dinner. Next time I'm in Denver, this is on my repeat list.

Depending on who's running the cashier spot, you may or may not get friendly service. Sometimes it reminds me of Seinfeld, the "no soup for you guy!" You get the feeling they are not that happy that you've come to their establishment. I'm a regular and get to go orders all the time. It's really awkward and uncomfortable how they have people waiting for to go orders stand in front of the tables where people are trying to eat. NOT a good flow the way they have it, but it seems they really don't care. And forget about the parking, you're lucky to find a spot, especially in the morning, and even if you do there are crazy drivers pulling in and out at all angles and you're taking a chance of getting hit when you pull out onto Leetsdale. I really wish they would find a new location, but close by, that provides a separate area for takeout and a nicer, larger place for dining in. They have the following to support that. They know how to make good Mexican food, they just need to figure out a better way to accommodate their loyal flow of customers.

a relatively new place, but quite crowded
My family and I were looking for some Mexican food. Tacos Tequila was on our way back to Denver. We were not disappointed. All the tacos were delicious as was the Queso Fundido.

Met up with two other couple we havenât seen in 7 years. Food was very tasty and well presented. The music selection was good but it was nowhere near background. Found ourselves shouting across the table. Our visit was from 8-10pm on a Sat night. Staff was great!

When the poblano chicken looks like it was made with a bag of cubed Costco chicken and comes smothered in stringy cheese, you know this dinner is far, far from authentic. The food was all bland, but the margaritas were good and the staff very nice. Thereâs a business traveler crowd and the locals say itâs the best Mexican around. When you crave some Texmex, Houston is a long way to go. Have another margarita, and it wonât matter.

We decided on Samâs No. 3 for brunch and were very happy with our choice. With a huge menu to order from, we went with our standard breakfast orders (sausage/eggs/hash browns and a Denver omelette with home fries). Food came out fairly quickly, especially considering how busy they were. Everything was delicious! There were also lots of mimosa and Bloody Mary options. We chose the standard mimosas, and they were very good.
