This location is really terrible, because it is so busy. It is often hard to get in and especially out of the parking lot. That being said, the service is always quick and the food is always fresh. I can't complain about that!

My food is always right here, the staff is always courteous and my wait in the drive thru is never very long. This one has improved substantially.
Visit the bar side for an enjoyable experience. TVs set to customer choices and a variety of beer choices. Large mugs! Menu items offer an array of selections-great super nachos with fresh guacamole and grilled chicken & steak, loved the fish tacos & fajitas. An atmosphere that makes patrons feel comfortable & relaxed.

I was totally surprised by this Taco Bell! I have gotten used to sub par food and service at Taco Bell until now. The cashier was friendly and well spoken. She was clean and acted as if she enjoyed her job. The food was better than I have had any Taco Bell,

This restaurant has been in the same place since 1991. That alone speaks well of it. It is a shame that we did not try it until recently, although we have passed by it thousands of times. I am sorry that we have missed years of good food. The place is a bit small, being in a strip mall, but it is cozy and inviting. The food is Tex-Mex, not really authentic Mexican, but that said it is the best I have found in the northland. The portions were perfect. The hot salsa is actually hot, but with a good flavor. The chips were fresh corn tortillas. The wait staff was very nice, even when the place was crowded. Our waitress was patient as it was our first visit. She made recommendations and accommodated our special requests. The chimichanga (with chicken) was full of flavor. It was full of nicely grilled chicken breast meat. The burrito (shredded beef) was just as flavorful, with the beef tasting like a torn-apart steak. This is not a fancy place at all, but judging by the many customers who knew the staff by name, it is a neighborhood favorite. Hint...try the sopapillas.

I like to go to Carlitos for a change of pace from the fast food restaurants like Taco Bell. It's not a table service restaurant. It's more of a café where you go to the counter to order and pick up your food. I get their basic bean burrito when I go there. It's a little more expensive than Taco Bell but if you are wanting a change of pace, I would recommend Carlitos. I hope you find this review helpful.

We had lunch at Mi Ranchito today (authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex). Although they were very busy (including several large groups) we had great service. My spouse had the cream cheese enchilada which she said was very tasty and well-prepared. I had the Tuesday special -- a carefully-cooked chicken breast topped with crabmeat (not imitation) and several small shrimp with a special cream sauce. It was delicious! Baskets of tortilla chips with mild sauce accompany the meals. There are many offerings (soups, salads, entrees, small plates) on the lunch menu; give yourself time to look it over and ask questions.

Last night was my first visit to this restaurant since the recent remodel. They did an excellent job! After perusing the new menu, I was disappointed not to see my favorite, Enchiladas Rancheros. My wife found it under the Quesadilla section. I was not disappointed. It was as good as ever. I would like to comment on other entries, but I love this one so much, I get it every time I eat here. My wife had the Carnitas and she thought they were outstanding. Nice and crispy.Service was super friendly! It was a Friday night and the place was packed and noisy. The Royals game was on and they have TVs that are viewable from all seats. It was a good sign that everyone was having a good time.

We stopped in for a late lunch today. We used live north of the river and ate here frequently as it was one of our very favorite Mexican Restaurants. Today was a disappointment as far as the food was concerned. The service was just fine. Our server was friendly and efficient and the food came to the table fairly quickly. Of course, they were not very busy at 3 in the afternoon. The food was the problem. The white cheese dip was very bland, not at all like it used to be. The salsa was also ho-hum and the chips were dense, dry and not warm. The Chili Relleno stuffed with ground beef used to be hubby's favorite and he was disappointed and said it was not nearly as good as it used to be.The rice and beans which came on the side were also just average. I had the Thursday special which was an ala cart burrito. The burrito was full of pork and beans, topped with a red sauce and a dab of cheese. The burritos I used to get here were swimming in cheese and oh so good. This one was average at best. Prices are also average and in line with other restaurants of this type. Maybe we hit them on a bad day, but I think they have become complacent with their business. I don't think we will be making an effort to return.

We ate here for the first time at lunch yesterday. (There are many choices for Mexican food in the Northland; this is one we'd not been to.) An extensive menu with a good selection of lunch choices on the back. I had chicken soup which was loaded with white meat of chicken in a great, medium-spicy broth with "just enough" rice in the base. My spouse had chili Relleno which she said was delicious. It looked as if the restaurant had been recently remodeled, and was very clean. There is flexible seating, and a large party was having a retirement luncheon. We had OK service.
